Oak Ridge 51 / Clinton 46

Oak Ridge held on to defeat the hosting Clinton Dragons, 51-46 thanks to late free throw makes by Justice West.

"I was not happy at halftime," said Oak Ridge Head Coach Aaron Green. "We couldn't have played worse offensively in the first half...I challenged them at halftime. I told them, 'Are you going to find a way to win this game, or not? This is your last time playing at Clinton.'"

Coach Green was very proud of Ja'Rell Jimmerson who scored 12 points in the second half.

Clinton High dealt with foul trouble to Jaxson Alcorn Jaxson Alcorn 6'3" | SG Clinton | 2027 State TN all night. He missed a lot of typical minutes. Bryson Maddux was not very productive offensively but hit a mammoth fourth quarter three-pointer to draw the game close late.

Oakland 49 / Green Hill 65

Christian Bright Christian Bright 6'3" | SG/SF Green Hill | 2027 State TN carried the Hawks (5-4) with 20 points, his career high.

"We just knew coming into the game that no matter the outcome, we had to have a winning mindset and make winning plays," said Bright. "All season long we just have to trust the process and continue building together, and if we do that we'll be where we want to be."

Senior forward Jaylen Searcy Jaylen Searcy 6'4" | SF/SG Greenhill | 2026 TN scored 14 points. Lleyton Plummer made one three-pointer and scored 8 points. Mason Bates hit two three-pointers.

Oakland falls to 1-5 on the year. Their offense was carried by Yeshiyiah Cobb, who scored 26 points and 21 in the second half.

Sophomore Lando Caldwell Lando Caldwell 6'1" | SG Notre Dame | 2028 State TN drew a foul shooting a three-pointer in the first quarter. At no point was Notre Dame more in command than that moment. It got ugly from that point forward. Father Ryan scored 16 unanswered points.

Hume-Fogg 57 / Smyrna 59

Smyrna tucked away their biggest win of the season, defeating power Hume-Fogg 59-57 Friday night. Smyrna star Yon Kinzer earned an offer from Columbia State Community College just last night.
