CP3NMSC West (LAX) Superlatives: 7th Grade Scorers

Los Angeles, CA — The 2025 CP3 West Middle School Combine continued to showcase high-level young talent from across the region. In Part Five of our Class of 2031 coverage, we highlight the 7th-grade top scorers who distinguished themselves with advanced shot-making, strong scoring instincts, and the ability to generate offense at all three levels. These players consistently applied pressure on defenses, converted opportunities in transition and the half court, and proved they can be trusted as primary scoring options against quality competition...    Terry Gwynn III delivered a productive showing at the 2025 CP3 West National Middle School Combine, displaying a well-rounded scoring skill set. He was effective scoring at all three levels, using solid shot preparation, change of pace and controlled footwork to create separation. Gwynn consistently punished defenders off the catch, attacked gaps when overplayed and finished plays through contact. He played within the offense, made simple reads and maintained efficiency without hunting shots.     Pierre Killian proved to be a consistent three-level scorer who was capable of putting points on the board in bunches at the 2025 CP3 West National Middle School Combine. He knocked down perimeter shots with confidence, attacked closeouts to get into the lane and finished plays through contact around the rim. Killian showed good shot selection and balance, rarely forcing the action while still being aggressive when openings appeared. He played with pace, used his strength to create space and capitalized on defensive breakdowns.     Carson Parks showed he's a high-level shot-maker, consistently finding ways to score for his team at the 2025 CP3 West National Middle School Combine. He knocked down jumpers from distance, pulled up off the dribble and finished effectively at the rim, displaying a smooth, balanced scoring game. Parks has a feel for spacing and timing, allowing him to create shots without forcing them, and he capitalized on defensive lapses to get easy points. His scoring came in rhythm, helping his team maintain offensive flow, and his ability to put the ball in the basket from multiple areas highlighted a guard with advanced scoring instincts.     Darien Poole provided instant offense whenever the ball was in his hands at the 2025 CP3 West National Middle School Combine, consistently creating scoring opportunities for himself and his team. He attacked gaps with pace, pulled up off the dribble, and finished effectively around the rim, showing confidence in all areas of the floor. Poole's ball-handling and quick decision-making allowed him to navigate traffic and exploit defensive lapses, while his scoring came without forcing the action.     Kingston Segawa emerged as an impactful scorer for his team at the 2025 CP3 West National Middle School Combine, consistently finding ways to put points on the board. He showed the ability to score at all three levels, knocking down jumpers, attacking the basket, and finishing through contact. Segawa played with poise, making smart decisions with the ball while taking advantage of defensive lapses.
