Brentwood is coasting through a wonderful season, and Bartlett certainly played from behind more often despite winning every game. It is important to consider the two schedules though. While Brentwood consistently faces strong in-state opponents Bartlett is battling great out-state opponents...elite programs that are deeper in talent than Brentwood's foes so far.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Brentwood played Cookeville, Lipscomb Academy, Blackman, Upperman. While those teams are good you are looking at 2-3 great players per team. Bartlett was seeing teams with 5-6 great players before entering district play. The talent level of the Top 4 teams is astronomical. Their district is a minefield though. Bearden, an improved Farragut. Oak Ridge might be tough in their rebuilding year<strong>. Station Camp </strong>plays wonderfully together and they suffered just a single loss so far.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>Maryville </strong>enters the Top 10. Their team was built for this year with seniors [player_tooltip player_id='1787950' first='Luke' last='Sigmund'], [player_tooltip player_id='2358309' first='Jonathan' last='Woodlee'], and [player_tooltip player_id='2623856' first='Eli' last='Owensby']. They used to have [player_tooltip player_id='2345574' first='Brayden' last='Hazelbaker'] too though he transferred before the season. As they hoped Maryville is succeeding often, improving this week to 8-1.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>Cookeville </strong>and <strong>Knoxville Central </strong>are hovering just outside the Top 10. Nolensville could easily be in the Top 10.
