2028 Rankings Shake-Up: New Dynamic Guards

The 2028 class just got a lot more interesting. A handful of emerging guards are making serious noise, forcing a shake-up in the rankings as they continue to elevate their games.    [player_tooltip player_id='3199585' first='Jaxson' last='Roberts'] earns a spot in the rankings thanks to his scoring ability and anticipation. He can knock down shots from beyond the arc when left open, or jump into a passing lane, come up with a steal, and take it the rest of the way for an easy two. Currently, he's averaging 14.3 PPG for Eldorado.     [player_tooltip player_id='3198523' first='Kason' last='Turner'] was a new prospect who caught my attention in the Boulder City vs. The Meadows matchup. He's a scrappy point guard who fights through screens, stays locked in defensively, and brings consistent energy on that end. On offense, Turner used his handle and change-of-direction moves to get downhill and finish in the paint. While also getting to the line a couple of times. All in all, he should help the Eagles grab some wins this season and he'll be a name to monitor going forward.     Cam Banks is now at Palo Verde, giving the Panthers another strong option in their backcourt. He's a ball-handler and scorer who can maneuver around defenders once he builds up speed, and he uses his athleticism and instincts to make plays defensively. Overall, Banks contributes in multiple areas and he's likely going to keep developing these next few months.     [player_tooltip player_id='3198906' first='Raymond' last='Glasper'] is a player who landed on my radar during the preseason. And I also liked how he performed on Tuesday night when Rancho hosted Losee. His minutes climbed in the second half, and he made the most of the opportunity. Burning defenders with his speed nd knocking down shots from the perimeter. He finished with 10 points and a steal. Look for him to continue be an asset for Rancho as the season progresses.       Sierra Vista guard [player_tooltip player_id='3199671' first='Devontae' last='Jones'] comes into the rankings after making some flashes in the fall. He's rather shifty and can shake defenders when he catches them on their heels. As a defender, he covers ground at a rapid rate and he's averaging just over block a game this season (1.3 BPG).     [player_tooltip player_id='3199554' first='KJ' last='Washington'] makes his way into the rankings at #60. The 6'2 prospect is a highly athletic guard who impacts the game on both ends of the floor. Offensively, he attacks the basket with control and isn't afraid to play off two feet to finish through traffic. Defensively, his instincts and quickness allow him to force turnovers and disrupt opposing guards.   Also averaging an impressive 19.3 PPG at the moment.
