We have a sufficient number of games to confidently rank these teams. Several squads have faced strong competition, eager to make a statement early in the season, and their efforts will be rewarded as the year progresses. Below is our Top 10.

#1 Lone Peak

Lone Peak looks much different this season, and two players have ignited them: [player_tooltip player_id='1724367' first='Saxon' last='Young'] and [player_tooltip player_id='1768205' first='Jayden' last='Hughes']. These two have been effective in different ways. Young has been scoring from all over the court, and his shooting has been unreal. He's one of the best creators on the team. Hughes is the glue guy, capable of doing a little bit of everything. He stuffs the stat sheet, giving Lone Peak an edge and allowing players like [player_tooltip player_id='1724365' first='Crew' last='Fotheringham'] to thrive. Lone Peak takes the top spot this week.

#2 Bingham

Bingham has one of the toughest schedules in the class, having played three juggernauts, going 2-1, including a thriller against Olympus recently. The best thing about Bingham right now is that they are getting a different player to step up every game. [player_tooltip player_id='1278436' first='Luke' last='West'] had a great game, and Parker Snedeaker has been really good. Bingham will pick up steam throughout the season.

#3 Westlake

Westlake is off to a hot start. They are trending upward after being viewed as a team that could be good, and they have proven their worth, especially with a big home win against Davis. Four players are averaging double figures, including [player_tooltip player_id='1476918' first='Graydin' last='Anderson'], [player_tooltip player_id='2540018' first='Lincoln' last='Norwood'], [player_tooltip player_id='1724364' first='Malik' last='Sika'], and [player_tooltip player_id='2540019' first='Walker' last='Jensen']. Westlake is dangerous. They have two upcoming games that will test them, and they could move up one or two spots by next week.

#4 American Fork

If you don't pay attention to Utah high school basketball, you might not know that American Fork always has a brutal pre-season schedule, but they hold their own and were one possession away from beating the top high school team in the state. [player_tooltip player_id='1439711' first='Bryce' last='Mella'] is playing great, and so is [player_tooltip player_id='1724369' first='Jax' last='Oyler']. [player_tooltip player_id='2089441' first='Jax' last='Clark'] is the other player that makes up this trio that will be on double-double watch every night.

#5 Corner Canyon

This team is better than most people give them credit for. Their next seven games are brutal, and they might go 0-7, but it's not because they won't beat teams in Utah; six of those seven games are against out-of-state teams. [player_tooltip player_id='2208570' first='Manase' last='Brown'] is tough and will get his basketball legs here shortly. Josh Tolan is playing good basketball, and [player_tooltip player_id='1278437' first='Tyler' last='Mortensen'] is playing solid as well. Keep an eye on freshman [player_tooltip player_id='2809197' first='Ty' last='Kozlowski'], who is ready to have a big game.

#6 Davis

The Darts don't have enough of a sample size to drop too much or stay too high, but in the next few weeks, they will play some good teams. Look for them to figure things out after a tough road loss to Westlake. [player_tooltip player_id='2539677' first='Cameron' last='Brower'] had a great game one, and look for more out of [player_tooltip player_id='1611276' first='Bode' last='Sparrow'] and [player_tooltip player_id='1278451' first='JT' last='Turley'].

#7 Layton

[player_tooltip player_id='1724368' first='Karter' last='Miller'] has been outstanding, averaging 25 points per game. As the season progresses, he will need assistance, and [player_tooltip player_id='2539689' first='Jack' last='Godderidge'] can provide that help. Layton is a tough team and will consistently be in striking distance against any opponent. Tough loss to Alta.

#8 Farmington

Farmington is 2-0 and has a significant game coming up against Pleasant Grove. This contest will serve as a crucial measuring stick for both teams. [player_tooltip player_id='1724606' first='Luke' last='Beattie'] has emerged as a pleasant surprise, and he's receiving valuable assistance from players like Issac Anderson and [player_tooltip player_id='2218132' first='Malakai' last='Tobler'].

#9 Herriman

With only one game under their belt, it's clear that Herriman will be a tough team to beat once they reach full strength. [player_tooltip player_id='2809208' first='Xavier' last='Mulford'] has already made a strong impression, and we anticipate [player_tooltip player_id='1724357' first='Stone' last='Tia'] to significantly improve his performance in the upcoming games. The team's potential is exciting, and they have the opportunity to make some noise in the league.

#10 Skyridge

The schedule is going to get tougher, but Skyridge possesses a solid team dynamic, characterized by effective ball movement, which makes them a challenging opponent to contain. Carson Mostller and [player_tooltip player_id='2346735' first='Ryder' last='Gentry'] have both demonstrated strong performances to begin the season. Skyridge is a team to watch.

We have a sufficient number of games to confidently rank these teams. Several squads have faced strong competition, eager to make a statement early in the season, and their efforts will be rewarded as the year progresses. Below is our Top 10.
