PICTURED: [player_tooltip player_id='2373252' first='John' last='Nwoye']

[player_tooltip player_id='2373252' first='John' last='Nwoye'] (Hume-Fogg) tucked away 19 rebounds Opening Night! The senior also scored 31 points in his senior debut. Last year John's older brother was the alpha dog, but Michael Nwoye graduated and left an enormous opportunity for John to excel...which apparently he took seriously.

In a upset win over 4a Lebanon, Cannon County leaned upon star guard [player_tooltip player_id='2194623' first='Miles' last='Alexander']. Alexander recorded 16 points, 12 assists, and 7 rebounds! Remember Miles is a point guard. Seven rebounds against a 4a school speaks to his abnormal strength and impressive quickness at a young age. Teammate [player_tooltip player_id='2876404' first='Lukas' last='Phillips'] paced all scorers with 36 points and 7 rebounds too.

Wing [player_tooltip player_id='2236641' first='Kaden' last='Matthews'] (Smyrna), one of the best unsigned players in the senior class, had 22 points and 6 rebounds.

[player_tooltip player_id='2195034' first='Cole' last='J. Amonett'] (Pickett County) dropped 25 points Tuesday reinforcing his exceptionalism within the Class of 2028. Amonett collected six rebounds in the 60-50 win over Smith County.

[player_tooltip player_id='1591000' first='Monterrio' last='Cox'] (Southwind) collected five rebounds from the guard position in a loss to Collierville. Cox transferred to Southwind High because Memphis East lost their 4a membership in the last classification update. He is a skilled lead guard.

https://twitter.com/RyanCarter_2028/status/1992007108565598719?s=20

Harding Academy senior Anderson Foster pulled down four rebounds Monday. The Lions of Harding enjoyed a blowout win.

Fayette Ware Head Coach Demarius Chearis enjoyed a victory in the Wildcat's first game of the season. The win included several top rebounding efforts: Kavious Terry (13), [player_tooltip player_id='2283267' first='Elijah' last='Lowe'] (8), [player_tooltip player_id='2796643' first='Kylon' last='Terry'] (7), [player_tooltip player_id='2805504' first='Cash' last='Williams'] (6), P.J. Brown (5). Elijah is ranked #23 in the Class of 2027. UT Martin offered Elijah already. [player_tooltip player_id='2796643' first='Kylon' last='Terry'] is ranked #12 in the Class of 2028, while Cash is ranked #68 in the same class.

[player_tooltip player_id='2351063' first='Turner' last='Clayton'] (Walker Valley) tugged down seven rebounds. They defeated Boyd-Buchanan.
