CIAC Underclassmen: Forwards to Watch

The 6'6" forward has long arms and uses his length to his advantage as a paint finisher offensively and as a rim protector defensively. He moves well laterally and has the ability to guard in space on the perimeter. He can defend any position on the floor, covers ground quickly, and has the ability to really protect the rim in the half-court. Offensively, he is an instinctive cutter that has the ability to finish plays above the rim, while also showing the ability to step out and make perimeter jumpers. The 6'7" forward is a tough low-post scorer that can finish with either hand and does a nice job of rolling hard to the rim out of screens. He has a good build, plus length, and plays incredibly hard on both ends of the floor. He's quick in space and does a nice job of running the floor in transition, where he can use his athleticism as a finisher around the rim.
