November has started, meaning the upcoming varsity basketball season is set to start. The independent schools are filled with talent in the front court, especially in the 2026 class. Here are the 2026 independent school post prospects to track.

[player_tooltip player_id='1581755' first='Al'Tariq' last='Reevey'], 6'9 C College Achieve

Reevey is one of the top post prospects in the state and should make an immediate impact for the Knights. The 6'9 post runs the floor hard, setting himself for easy dunks and layups in transition. Reevey has a nice touch around the rim and rolls hard to the basket in the pick-and-roll. He swats almost everything around the rim and skies for rebounds on both ends of the floor. Reevey is a lanky rim protector who should impact the game at both ends of the floor throughout the winter.

[player_tooltip player_id='1630659' first='Isaiah' last='Carroll'], 6'7 PF/SF Blair Academy

[player_tooltip player_id='2431506' first='Coleman' last='Elkins'] and [player_tooltip player_id='2107942' first='Kenny' last='Thompson'] are also talented post prospects for the Buccaneers, but Carroll's versatility should be on display this season. The Penn commit has a good first step, which he uses to get to the rim and finishes strong around the rim. Carroll sets his feet before he shoots and can find his open teammates in the half court. He has the length to defend multiple positions on the floor and is a solid rebounder. Carroll is a versatile forward prospect who should put his game on display throughout the course of the season.

[player_tooltip player_id='2910321' first='Sean' last='Griffin'], 6'8 PF Peddie

Griffin had a strong summer and is looking to carry it over into the winter. The Navy commit has a solid face-up game, which he uses to get to the rim off the bounce and can finish through contact. Griffin knows how to get position down low and has range that extends out to the three-point line. He fights for rebounds on both ends of the floor and is an underrated shot-blocker. Griffin is a talented forward prospect who should score in the paint and rip down rebounds, which will help his development throughout the course of the season.

[player_tooltip player_id='2692047' first='Jonathan' last='Levasseur'], 6'8 PF/SF Life Center

Levasseur has the potential to breakout this season as he should get more touches in the paint. The 6'8 forward uses his handle to get to his spot on the floor and can knock down open jumpers from behind the arc. Levasseur can also finish around the rim and is an underrated passer. He gets deflections on the defensive end and works for rebounds on both ends of the floor. Levasseur is a gritty forward prospect who should make plays at both ends of the floor over the next couple of months.

[player_tooltip player_id='2872309' first='Luke' last='Wafle'], 6'5 PF Hun

Wafle's collegiate future is on the gridiron, but that won't stop him from making an impact on the hardwood. The USC commit can explode off the floor for dunks and is unafraid of contact. Wafle can also put the ball on the floor and has a good touch around the basket. He is a force on the boards and can also pass out of the post. Wafle should rack up double-doubles this season as opponents will struggle to stop him from ripping down boards and scoring int the paint.
