Preseason Player of the Year: 2026 [player_tooltip player_id='2413648' first='Logan' last='Kempema'] (Hinton)

This is a league that brings back quite a bit of talent and scoring, and it should be a little more open than it has been in recent years with the dominant play of late of St. Mary's, Remsen. Hinton figures to be one of the top contenders in the conference, and Kempema is their top player. A versatile scorer and playmaker, he's our pick for POY, but this could go in a number of different directions.

First Team

2026 [player_tooltip player_id='2413648' first='Logan' last='Kempema'] (Hinton): 15.6 points, 6.1 rebounds, 3.0 assists, 1.3 steals

A bouncy, skilled 6-5 wing, Kempema is a capable shooting threat, but is at his best when he's operating inside the arc. He can get to his spots off the dribble in the mid-range, is great on the glass, and sees the floor really well and is a gifted passer.

2026 [player_tooltip player_id='2791362' first='Jaden' last='Kreber'] (South O'Brien): 15.0 points, 6.1 rebounds, 1.9 assists, 1.6 steals

Kreber was really good as a secondary scorer last year for the Wolverines alongside standout Derek Paulsen, and he'll step into the starring role as a senior. He's an athletic, physical 6-3/6-4 big man who can control the glass and score around the bucket.

2026 [player_tooltip player_id='1978143' first='Reegan' last='McKee'] (Akron-Westfield): 15.0 points, 8.7 rebounds, 1.6 assists, 1.0 steals, 1.1 blocks, 41.9 3P%

A 6-5 forward who can score inside and out, McKee is a nightly threat for a double-double for the Westerners. With his size and ability to shoot it at a nearly 42% clip from the 3-point line, he's a matchup problem on the offensive end who looks primed to have a huge senior year.

2026 [player_tooltip player_id='2853881' first='Isaac' last='Schierholz'] (Hartley-Melvin-Sanborn): 14.3 points, 7.2 rebounds, 5.5 assists, 1.4 steals, 1.1 blocks

In a league filled with skilled players between 6-3 and 6-5, Schierholz is another standout who can stuff the stat sheet in a number of different ways. He's a good athlete who can defend multiple positions, get his teammates involved, and score inside the arc.

2026 [player_tooltip player_id='1765534' first='Brayson' last='Mulder'] (MMCRU): 12.8 points, 3.8 rebounds, 1.7 assists, 2.5 steals

Another versatile, skilled wing who can impact the game on both ends of the floor with his size, athleticism, and intelligence, Mulder is going to be the star for a Royals team that will be looking to compete at the top of the league again this winter.
