Over 50 players from Utah and surrounding states came together Saturday, Oct. 4th for Prep Hoops event, The Expo. Here are some of the wing players that stood out. Also, if you haven't already, check out my latest post PH Utah Expo Recap: Top Big Men - Prep Hoops for more standouts.

This kid was absolutely all over the place on defense. It was like he had a clone on the court with the amount of ground he was able to cover. Swatting away jump shots and protecting the rim at an elite level. He got in the passing lanes; he was ripping it away from ball handlers. Super athletic and plays way bigger than his listed 6'2" frame. Good guy to keep an eye on for any school.

Dallin looked confident in his game from start to finish, a big sign of relentless work on his game. His three-point shot was smooth like butter, and he was scoring at will. His matchups seemed to struggle to stay in front of him. He has a great feel for the court, knows his strengths and sticks to them. Dangerous in transition, Castle also had some impressive kick out passes off of the drive, leading his team to some good wins in 5v5's. Excited to see how he continues to develop. Easily a Top Performer.

[player_tooltip player_id='2388587' first='Bracken' last='Saunders'] is a crazy athlete. He slammed down a few putback dunks that had the gym going wild. He's very strong bodied and caused major problem for opponents Saturday. I almost put him in the big man recap because of how much of a presence he had in the paint. Great rebounding skills for a player his size. He also shot extremely well from 3. Bracken did not force anything and played winning basketball all day. He's a great 3 and D prospect to keep an eye on.

A stellar defender on the perimeter, he never gave up an easy basket. I did not see him get blown by almost all day. He did a great job of getting into the paint when the opposite team was matching up with smaller guards on him. He's got some springs as well, which helped him grab a lot of rebounds and finish strong at the basket over help defense.

Roman showed that he can see the play happening before it actually develops. His anticipation on both offense and defense really stood out. Whether he was sizing his guy up for a jumper, blowing by him for a tough layup, or hitting the open guy mid-air wrapping around 3 people. I saw him being very vocal on defense, leading his group on that end and keeping the guys together. He was constantly making the right play. Knockdown shooter. Active rebounder. Exceptional defensive flashes. Will be an integral part of Murray this year.
