<p>St Dominic's has started to get back to where they were in the early 2000s .They are led by a POY candidate in 5”11 senior Melo Mojeed. Defenders really have to be aware of his explosiveness getting downhill. He can handle it with either hand. Changes direction and pace really well. Good rebounding guard. Defends at a high level all 94 feet.</p>

<p>Cameron Obujari will be the running mate and relied on to complement in the scoring column. The 5”11 junior is another really good defender. He is long and uses that attribute in defending. High level shooter. Versatile finisher at the rim with either hand.</p>

<p>Senior Tyler Lautaud is an extremely athletic player. He uses his length to defend and score. His task each game is usually matched up against the opponents best player.</p>

<p>St John the Baptist have two underclassman to lead them this year. Tony “Kenji” Etkins a 2027 6”2 wing is the varsity experienced player. A pure scorer. Scores in bunches and volume. Can shoot it off the bounce or stand still jumpers. Old school move without the ball player. Good body and versatile skillset makes him tough to guard.</p>

<p>The coaching staff is very high on sophomore guard 5”8 Justus Gales. Known as “Shifty” tells you a lot about his court presence. At a young age he is a coach on the floor. High basketball IQ. Always looking to attack but also aware of the situation. Excellent Passer sees the floor really well. Good rebounding guard. Gets two feet in the lane just about anytime he wants.</p>

<p> Kellenberg lost a lot of star power from last seasons team in Stephen Kieran and Jack Geoghan so they embark on the season with a young team. We will wait to see how they develop. 2026 6”2 Joe Burke can drain threes and has improved his overall offensive game.</p>
