Saturday, September 6th Prep Hoops Arizona had the annual EXPO Showcase which was hosted at Chaparral HS in Scottsdale, AZ. We had right around 32 players from the 2026-2028 classes who were competing in a few games of 3 on 3 followed by the regular 5 on 5 setting.

This article is not a prospect ranking but how productive they were at the camp. (This is a combination of what I viewed with the two different settings.)

Here is the 3rd Team

[player_tooltip player_id='2891695' first='Jayden' last='Bebout-Vega'] Tempe Prep

A tough and versatile forward who plays both positions up front. He will score with threes off the catch, he will rip thru towards the basket and handles contact well. He is a strong two-handed rebounder and set some of the best picks at the camp.

[player_tooltip player_id='2623495' first='Riley' last='Haggerty'] Cactus Shadows

A thicker framed combo guard with decent size. The southpaw can hit the three off the catch, fall away from his defender, ball fake and go up in the paint and layups with either hand. He is a smart passer and uses the pick and roll game to his advantage.

[player_tooltip player_id='2907164' first='Scott' last='Henderson'] ASU Digital Prep

A newcomer for me is an active defensive minded shooting guard. He is good defender in space and can even block a shot plus rebound in his area. He will score with tough drives to the rim and move without the ball. He is also a sneaky good passer.

[player_tooltip player_id='2812746' first='Cash' last='Hill'] AZ Lutheran Academy

A small school standout was one of the better shooters off the catch from the three point line. He plays within the flow of the offense and will score it with mid-range jumpers plus he is a good passer with an advanced feel to make a play.

[player_tooltip player_id='2149115' first='Marcus' last='McCaster Jr'] Phhoenix Prep

A strong framed guard can play both guard spots in a pinch. He plays the game with a big motor to compete, defend and he rebounds well. He will score with threes off the catch or pull and can hit the pull-up mid-range jumper. He is fairly consistent as a shooter and smartly moves without the ball.

[player_tooltip player_id='2915639' first='Matthew' last='Milner'] Tempe Prep

A combo guard has a good handle and he is a good passer in transition. He will score with downhill takes with a quick burst and some sneaky athleticism plus he has a pure stroke from the three point line off the catch. He also rebounds well for his size.

[player_tooltip player_id='2899125' first='Jeremiah' last='Rasdall'] Ascending Life (Pictured)

A newcomer is a bigger sized scoring guard can handle it decently and play off the ball too. He is best scoring the ball with downhill dribble drives using his size and he will hit the three off the catch with deep range and a quicker trigger. He potentially could be moving to NYC but he is still in AZ for now.
