CP3 Rising Stars National Camp: Class of 2029 Wing Recap (Pt. 1)

Bermuda Run, NC — The 13th annual CP3 Rising Stars Camp came to a close after a weekend showcasing elite competition and player growth. The camp gathered many of the nation's most talented young prospects, providing a stage to display their skills in front of scouts and evaluators. Athletes across every position group stepped up with standout performances, highlighting both their present abilities and their potential for the future. In this fourth installment of our coverage, we focus on several class of 2029 wings who left a lasting impression on the court.    Kenneth Boyd III stood out at the 2025 CP3 Rising Stars National Camp, displaying his athleticism and intensity on both ends of the floor. He was highly active defensively, moving quickly side to side and taking on multiple positions with confidence. Boyd attacked the rim aggressively, proving to be a consistent finisher who embraced contact. His high-energy style of play, combined with his versatility and defensive activity, made him a key impact player throughout the camp.     Drew Cabana made a strong impression at the 2025 CP3 Rising Stars National Camp, showcasing his versatile offensive skill set and ability to impact the game in multiple ways. He scored effectively at all three levels, using his skill set to create opportunities both for himself and for his teammates. Cabana was quick in his decision-making, consistently reading the defense and making the right play. While he proved he could score in a variety of ways, his vision and willingness to distribute when needed highlighted his complete offensive approach and made him a reliable playmaker throughout the event.     Abraham Cogan emerged as one of the more underrated standouts at the 2025 CP3 Rising Stars National Camp, showing he could impact the game in multiple ways. He excelled in transition, running the floor hard and finishing above the rim with both ease and power. Cogan proved he could score from all areas of the court, showcasing versatility as an offensive threat. Defensively, he was active and disruptive, frequently turning stops into fast-break opportunities. His ability to combine athleticism, scoring, and energy made him a valuable two-way presence throughout the camp.     Da'Kylen Heard reaffirmed his status as one of the top players in his class at the 2025 CP3 Rising Stars National Camp. A versatile wing, he displayed a well-rounded skill set that allowed him to impact the game in multiple ways. Heard handled the ball with confidence, created opportunities off the dribble, and played with a strong motor that fueled his effort on both ends. Defensively, his strength and athleticism enabled him to guard all positions effectively, giving his team flexibility. His blend of size, skill, and versatility made him one of the most complete performers at the camp.     Camden Hill carried his strong summer momentum into the 2025 CP3 Rising Stars National Camp, continuing to showcase his ability as a high-level shot maker. He proved he could create his own looks off the dribble while also knocking down shots off the catch with efficiency. Hill's polished offensive game projects well to the next level, as he showed poise and confidence against top competition. On the defensive end, he was just as effective, guarding multiple positions with effort and discipline. His hard play on both ends highlighted his all-around value as a complete two-way player.
