PH NorCal rankings have been updated. We're always out, and about looking to add quality prospects to our database. Northern California is a large area, sometimes we don't get to see prospects that play well, when we do, we'll shine the spotlight on them. Here are some of the new prospects we saw over the Spring and Summer during the high school live period, and other events.

[player_tooltip player_id='2755801' first='Romello' last='Bruhn'] 6'3 Guard plays for Weston Ranch. Bruhn transferred from Woodland Christian, there he was the third leading scorer in California at 31.2 ppg, according to Stats. We got a brief look at him in the Summer. He has some tools to put points on the board, we'll see more.

[player_tooltip player_id='2967475' first='Alec' last='Day'] 6'4 G/F plays at Folsom. A good size player, shows a somewhat versatile skill set. At 6'4 he plays on the perimeter with strong drives, pull up jumpers, and hit the 3 spotting up at times. He has the body and size to handle play inside when he's in there. Plays with good energy, good upside. He recently committed to play at Menlo College.

[player_tooltip player_id='2528335' first='Cameron' last='Hood'] 5'10 Combo Guard plays at Acalanes. Had a terrific Spring and Summer, might be ready for a breakout season. He has an improving skill set, he's playing with confidence. He can hit 3's from a distance, has a good burst to get by defenders, into the paint, then dish or score.

[player_tooltip player_id='2872379' first='Tyler' last='Bodensteiner'] 6'2 SG plays at Foothill. He's a hard playing guard we haven't seen much. He's listed as a small forward, but does put points on the board from the guard position. He handles, takes care of the ball using his body for hard drives, he doesn't mind the contact, he'll finish around the basket. He can hit the open 3-point shot. We'll see more.

[player_tooltip player_id='2961848' first='Grant' last='Dempster'] 6'2 Combo Guard plays at San Ramon Valley. Our first look at Dempster was a few weeks ago when he played in the Pro West Exposure Camp. He earned MVP in the Top 40 Game. 20pts, 3 rebounds. A solid body he uses to protect his dribble, get to his spots, mid-range jumpers, or drives to the basket, he squared for 3's. His alertness on defense generated a couple steals, and assist for easy layups. We'll see more

[player_tooltip player_id='2961636' first='Terrence' last='Wiley'] 6'6 Forward plays for Pittsburg. He's a long wiry type of prospect who can play multiple positions. He did well handling in open court, pushing it up court, having the head up to pass up. He has the length to score in the post area. He'll get rebounds, defend in the post. Standing 6'6 he can work along the perimeter.

[player_tooltip player_id='2887429' first='Osereme' last='Oriabure'] 6'2 Small Forward plays at Bishop O'Dowd. A 6'2 forward gets more done in the paint then some guys standing taller. He's strong, not too bothered going up in traffic against taller players. He has patience, decent foot work, and other ways to get his shot off in the post. He has a paint jumper, he gets his fair share of rebounds, some on the offensive side for putback points.

[player_tooltip player_id='2967473' first='Ethan' last='Banks'] 6'4 Power Forward plays for Cornerstone, Christian in Antioch, CA. He's a solid body who understands his role, rebound, defend in the post. He has some post moves to score. He's a good rebounder, sets sold screens before making his way closer to the basket. He's a good post passer high and low, with strong outlets to start the break.
