Johnson might just have the "it' factor. In three different viewings this spring and summer, he simply finds way to make it happen. He's a good athlete, evident with the lift and speed he plays with when attacking the rim. But it's more than just driving, he flies around to make hustle and heads up plays on defense. Had a nearly back to back sequence where not only did he save the ball by hustling, he successfully found teammates to spark transition opportunities. Johnson's fun mix of smart play and energetic style makes him a hidden gem from northwest Oklahoma.     Energy and production are two things Starnes always brings to the court. In this case, he played big around the rim with the occasional block and consistent rebounding. While also working in the mid-range and stepping out to the three point line. Motor and skill make him a tough match up and continue to make his basketball future look bright. One of the true grinders of the Class of 2026, who's effort is always notable.     Swiss army knife type wing. Was active in the passing lanes for steals with good anticipation. Good driver in the halfcourt and transition, with euro steps and other moves to go by defenders. Or can stop and hit in the mid-range. Was a sharpshooter at times for Washington last year, but this setting proved the all around impact he can make.     Hornberger is a "staring in his role" player. He plays hard and bigger than his size through his combination of strength and all out hustle. Runs the floor very hard in transition, even providing an outlet by running hard following defensive rebounds. Good finisher around the rim, strong and with good body control. Type of player who's effort sparks and makes life easier for his teammates. Should provide a gritty, tough presence for a Piedmont squad that will be capable of making some noise in 6A.     Williams elevated his game this summer, and looks ready to fully take off. Which is fitting as his transition dunks are energy givers. Was the top athlete in attendance, with above the rim finishes and more. To go along with his bounce, Williams is continuing to refine his shooting ability. Especially in the mid-range, scoring off turnaround jumpers.
