Today, we'll unveil Part II and the second set of five prospects that caught our eye at the event.

[player_tooltip player_id='2883032' first='Mikey' last='Chiara']

Chiara, a 6'3" guard out of Cushing Academy, is one of the best young defensive prospects I've seen this summer. The 2028 prospect has good size on the perimeter with long arms and terrific lateral mobility. When you combine that with his commitment to sitting in a stance and working on that end of the floor, you get a prospect who can change a game defensively. He guards up and down a lineup, makes plays on the ball in passing lanes, and operates as a grab and go rebounder. On the other end, he's got nice burst and is a tough cover when he gets downhill attacking the rim.

Reeve Sysko

Sysko, a 6'7" wing out of the Perkiomen School (PA), stood out with his inside-out versatility. The 2026 prospect fits the mold of a modern day stretch forward. He has good size for his position and can knock down shots out of the trailer position or as a pop guy out of ball screens. He's got a quick, high, and compact release on his shot. In the paint, he shows a good understanding of how to move off drives, has a solid set of hands, and can finish over defenders with a variety of finishing moves. On the other end, he can guard when switched onto the perimeter and does a nice job of making an impact on the defensive glass.

Joe Taylor

Taylor, a 6'9" forward out of Roncalli (IN), impressed with his feel for the ga and high skill level. The 2026 prospect was one of the bigger prospects in the gym, but showed off some nice agility, quick footwork, and plus instincts as a passer. He ran the floor well in transition, could operate as a decision maker out of the mid-post, and even knocked down a couple of threes in catch and shoot situations. On top of that, he provided some rim protection defensively, could single handedly control the glass, and made some high level outlet passes that triggered the break.

Diego Dersch

Dersch, a 6'4" guard out of Chaminade (NY), popped with his ability to score the ball at multiple levels. The 2027 prospect has great size on the perimeter, a college ready frame, and is an above the rim athlete. He's a good mover without the ball and can knock down shots at a high rate from behind the arc. He makes good decisions with the ball in his hands, has the ability to get to the rim off the bounce, and can score with touch in the mid-range. He does everything well on the offensive end of the floor and seemingly still has room to grow as a scorer. Defensively, he can guard multiple positions and isn't afraid to mix it up on the glass.

Brendan Gerard

Gerard, a 6'0" guard out of St. Andrew's (FL), made a difference in the game sets with his vision and ability to set up his teammates for easy baskets. The 2026 prospect has the ball on a string in the half-court, repeatedly gets to his spots off the bounce, and shows next level vision as a passer. He can get by his defender in isolation situations, but also does a nice job of using ball screens to manipulate the defense and find the open scorer. On the other end, he is a hard nosed defender that makes opponents start their offense farther from the hoop than they'd like. He sits in a stance, moves his feet, and uses his frame to his advantage when bumping ball-handers off their line.
