1.) 2026 Sawyer Veldhuizen | Lynnville-Sully -- 70/159 (44.0%)

A 6-2 wing, Veldhuizen is a true sharpshooter, with over 77% of his shot attempts as a junior coming from behind the arc. His size is an asset, allowing him to shoot over a majority of the defenders who are trying contest his shot.

2.) 2026 [player_tooltip player_id='2886911' first='Jackson' last='Ruggles'] | Mount Ayr -- 64/147 (43.5%)

Ruggles is a true do-it-all weapon who can torch you in a variety of ways, as evidenced by his 50-44-80 shooting splits last season for the Raiders. He's a big-time scorer who averaged just under 20 points a game, and he's also the team's top playmaking threat, dishing out a team-best 3.3 assists.

3.) 2026 [player_tooltip player_id='1765506' first='Brady' last='Boulton'] | Montezuma -- 99/231 (42.9%)

One of the most dangerous and explosive offensive players in the state, regardless of class, Boulton is a threat to make 7-8 3s on any given night if he gets it going early. He has a quick trigger off the dribble, getting the ball into his shooting pocket in the blink of an eye off the bounce, and his range extends well beyond the high school line. He's the type of player you need to pick up as soon as he crosses halfcourt, or he'll be splashing a 3 in your eye.

4.) 2026 [player_tooltip player_id='1765540' first='Holden' last='Roberts'] | Twin Cedars -- 43/101 (42.6%)

Roberts is Mr. Everything for the Sabers, leading the team in just about every major category. With so much attention being paid to him defensively, putting up the type of efficiency numbers he does is even more impressive.

5.) 2026 Jason Kastner | Logan-Magnolia -- 49/116 (42.2%)

A 6-2 wing with good size and the ability to score from all three levels, Kastner put together a nice junior year for the Panthers, averaging 10.4 points, 5.8 rebounds, and 2.3 assists while torching the nets from the 3-point line.

6.) 2026 [player_tooltip player_id='1978143' first='Reegan' last='McKee'] | Akron-Westfield -- 36/86 (41.9%)

A nightly double-double threat for the Westerners, McKee is a 6-5 combo forward who can step out and space the floor in a major way, shooting just under 42% from the 3-point line last season. His size and ability to score inside and out make him a difficult matchup.

7.) 2026 Blaine Tiedemann | Earlham -- 22/53 (41.5%)

Tiedemann barely qualified for this article, but with former Iowa sharpshooter Austin Ash now at the helm in Earlham, look for this shooting threat to be unleashed a little more often. He's a pure shooter with good form who moves well without the ball in his hands.

8.) 2026 Isaac Blankman | IKM-Manning - 46/111 (41.4%)

A 5-11 off-ball guard, Blankman shot significantly better from 3-point range than he did from inside the arc as a junior (31.7%). He moves well off the ball and has a quick release off the catch.

9.) 2026 [player_tooltip player_id='1460951' first='Eli' last='Dee'] | Baxter -- 57/138 (41.3%)

Dee wasn't at the top of this list, but when he gets it going, there are few players in the state who can get hotter than him. He has done a really good job over the last 18-24 months at improving as an all-around offensive weapon, improving his ball-handling, shot creation, and finishing around the rim. The more well-rounded approach has only made him a more deadly weapon from the 3-point line.

10.) 2026 Gage Thompson | Cedar Valley Christian -- 55/136 (40.4%)

Thompson had a productive junior year for the Huskies, ranking second on the team in scoring (12.0), assists (2.5), and providing some real value as a defender. He knocks down shots off the catch routinely and can provide some secondary playmaking.
