Nate showed his ability to run the show, but it was his scoring prowess from the lead guard spot that caused him to stand out. Nate is decisive in the open court and keeps defenders guessing with his quickness and elusiveness off the bounce. He scores from all levels, but it is his scoring prowess off the bounce that makes him challenging to contain. He has a good feel for what his team needs in the moment, as he understands when to shoot and when to move the ball to a teammate. It may sound like I am talking about a mature PG, but I am actually referring to a rising 7th-grader whom I will be monitoring over the next couple of years.

MJ is going to have a lot of ink on him as he continues his journey, as long as he stays in the lab. At this stage of his game, he has a floor game that is beyond his years. He is a shifty little lead guard who can handle the rock and create offense off the bounce. He has a budding PG IQ and skill set that sets him apart from his peers. MJ is young, but he possesses shot-creation ability and ball-handling skills that enable him to pressure defenses and create space to operate. He can attack going either direction and thrives off quick changes of direction and crafty changes of pace. His development is one that I will be keeping an eye on.

I was able to watch KeShawn and his crew in the championship game, and he was a huge factor in his team being an inch away from taking home the trophy. He is a wing to keep an eye on, as he makes the jump to the high school level. He is a multi-level scoring threat who shot it well from deep, but was at his best attacking off the bounce and getting into the heart of the defense, making plays in traffic and through contact. He is extremely comfortable with the ball in his hands and had a clutch performance, showing that he is not afraid of the big stage and is not afraid to put his team on his back and lead the charge.

Christopher is a young interior presence who has good size for his age. He impacted the stat sheet with his overall play. He produced in the scoring column with his ability to receive drop-offs and score at the rim, as well as catch and attack from the perimeter with 2-3 dribbles. He is a really good shot blocker for his age, thanks to his length, which also helps him to be highly active on the glass. Despite having a lot of room for growth and to add to his toolkit, he shows a budding ability to rim and push, and make plays in transition.

Levi is a big guard and uses his size to impact the game on both ends of the floor. He showed he has no issue using his size to his advantage, as he often just simply overpowered smaller guards on his way to the rim. He is listed as a wing, but for his DFE squad, he spends a significant amount of time as the primary initiator of the offense. Right now, he is dominant with his left hand when attacking off the bounce, and he has no problem living in the paint, where he showed his ability to finish with touch. His size helps him on both ends of the floor, allowing him to see over smaller defenders and make timely passes, as well as compete on the glass. His development is one to watch.
