Here's five recent transfers that could change the path in season and in post-season for their new program.

[player_tooltip player_id='2871150' first='Jaylen' last='Deuesenberry']

Former school: Morgantown

Current school: Fairmont Senior

The 6'3" wing will give the Polar Bears a much needed boost with a serious chunk of athleticism on defense and scoring on offense missing after graduation. We got to see Jaylen in person and in action at Fairmont State high school team shootout on Friday and he lived up to the hype. A very explosive and bouncy wing that also has a nice smooth stroke from outside.

[player_tooltip player_id='2303399' first='Anden' last='Santamaria']

Former school: Musselman

Current school: Spring Mills

Santamaria who is starting to get attention ramped up will have a chance for an immediate impact and be complimented by a true center who's already established and on the roster with lots of experience. The biggest advantage for Anden is the opportunity to be able to play his natural stretch type 4 position which will help scouts properly evaluate his skill set and determine his fit into their program. I think we'll see an avalanche of interest and offers by summer's end and when fall begins for Santamaria.

[player_tooltip player_id='2390884' first='Grady' last='Paynter']

Former school: Cabell Midland

Current school: Huntington St. Joseph

Paynter comes back to St. Joseph after an injury riddled year at Cabell Midland where he was a stat sheet stuffer before he left. Paynter has good size and length for a guard and athletic enough to guard anyone. His immediate impact will be allowing St Joe's to have guard depth, added scoring on both wings and another seasoned defender who should excel defending at the small school level.

[player_tooltip player_id='2310473' first='Eli' last='Smith']

Former school: Lincoln County

Current school: Chapmanville Regional

Smith comes back to Chapmanville after playing two years at Lincoln County where he was the go-to do-everything guy. He eclipsed a 1000 points while there but returns to his roots where he played as a freshman and older brother won a state championship for the Tigers of C'ville. Smith is a multi-tool player who will immediately add scoring, rebounding as well as versatility on defense as a big wing type player.

[player_tooltip player_id='2243493' first='Braedy' last='Johnston']

Former School: Shady Spring

Current school: Wyoming East

Johnston will spend his senior year at his father's alma mater who won a state title with coach McBride. Braedy brings an immense amount of experience and versatility to WE program allowing them to add new wrinkles into their offensive and defensive schemes given Johnston's talent and length. Johnston can play four positions and will bring a level of toughness to Wyoming East that will be needed to overcome AA state tournament opponents. Braedy might not put huge numbers in the scoring column for WE however he will be a player you'll notice quickly from a basketball standpoint because he does all the little things every time and does them right.
