Parkway isn't known for basketball prowess, but this season could be different thanks to Williams's leadership and growth. He is an intense competitor who wears his heart on his sleeve. Defensively he gives no space which consistently creates intense exchanges.  He is a reliable scorer when shooting and he's constantly moving which leads to scoring opportunities in half court sets and transition.  Williams will play college basketball if he wants; he has the skill and demeanor for next level competition.     Hicks showcased several different skills in each game. He is an active rebounder and defender who also works hard on offense, playing a cerebral game.  He is constantly moving to set picks and screens for his teammates.  He can knock down the three-pointer and finish at the rim. His solid frame is not easily moved. Menard has many good pieces, and it will be fun watching them come together.     Smith plays with savvy and is not afraid of contact.  He has a strong fundamental grasp of the game and understands angles, consistently cutting to the basket and finishing with either hand.  He is an active defender who reads offensive players quickly, creating advantages early. He will not back down from a shooter and will not overplay a shifty guard. Watch out for Smith; his senior season could be a big one.     Smith is an absolute energy player. He can score, but he works harder to create plays for his teammates. His stout frame allows him to overpower guards and force them into tough defensive situations.  He finishes well at the rim, but he consistently prioritizes a better shot for a teammate over a good shot for himself. Smith's toughness will be crucial for St. Helena this upcoming season.     Baker does more than just score. He is a physical enforcer and facilitator who controls the boards and works well around the basket. He showed his potential against a tough Rayville team. He is not well-known statewide yet, but that will likely change this season as St. Helena's looks like it would be one of the better teams in the state providing him opportunities to prove himself against high-level competition. He has a nice jumper, but his multi-layered skill set shines through in different ways each game. Baker has next level size, skill and athleticism.
