REDONDO BEACH — Last weekend's Summer Rumble at Redondo Union brought together a strong contingent of SoCal high school programs, many of which were using the event as a tune-up for Section 7 and the first live viewing period of June. Below we break down the rising junior and senior wings, forwards and centers who might not be household names but should see their stocks rise this summer and into next season.

Bryce Iwuoha | 2026 | St. Monica Prep

Iwuoha transferred in to the Santa Monica-based private school from Centennial of Las Vegas and will be an immediate impact addition with his combination of size, strength, skill and athleticism. The 6-foot-7 four/five man was a physical interior finisher around the rim with both hands, was active as a rim-runner in transition and showed the ability to take defenders off the dribble and to the basket in straight-line drive situations.

Davey Harris | 2027 | Windward

Harris is finally healthy after battling injuries over the last two years and, based on the way he played Saturday, he could be in line as one of the biggest stock-risers of the summer. The 6-foot-6 wing brought an intriguing combination of size and inside-out skill to the floor and it showed in his ability to stretch the floor to the three-point line off the catch and use his ball skills and horizontal and vertical athleticism to drive closeouts and finish above the rim.

[player_tooltip player_id='2435390' first='Ender' last='Berg'] | 2027 | Legacy Christian

Berg is donning some new gear after a transfer from Santa Ana Mater Dei to upstart Legacy Christian which, if anything, already showed positive results as the 6-foot-9 center got a lot of offensive touches Saturday. Berg showed his soft hands, solid footwork, good body control and coordination when catching, gathering and finishing at the rim on rim-runs, ball screens or out of slips.

Isma'il Abdul-Rahman | 2026 | Mayfair

Abdul-Rahman was a key piece at Long Beach Millikan last season and, with his transfer to Mayfair, gives the Monsoons a much-needed athletic forward. The 6-foot-8 rising senior has elite vertical pop off the floor with quick first and second jumps which result in him being an above the rim finisher and good offensive and defensive rebounder. Rahman also flashed some touch out to the three-point line off the catch with time and space.

Markee White, Jr. | 2026 | Santa Margarita

White began his high school career at Corona Centennial before spending last season at Williams Field in Arizona but the 6-foot-6 forward is back in the mix in SoCal after transferring to Santa Margarita. White will bring a welcomed physical presence to the Eagles' already-talented front line and the rising senior showed us improvements he made to his game over the last year. White proved to be a viable driver, passer and offensive rebounder who finished second chance opportunities through contact.

Mattai Carter | 2027 | Loyola

Carter was one of the most explosive athletes in the gym Saturday and he notched a couple of transition poster dunks on defenders who dared jump with him. The long, wiry 6-foot-5 wing hit a growth spurt recently and used his combination of ball skills and downhill speed off the dribble to put pressure on the rim and score with efficiency in the paint.

Xzavier Miller | 2026 | Legacy Christian

Miller is a physical, strong and athletic left-handed wing whose combination of physical tools, inside-out skill and ball handling ability made him a threat to score and create from anywhere on the court. Miller knocked down open three's off the catch, bullied his way through contact to score at the rim and flashed a high level mid-range game with pull-ups and physical drives on face-up touches.
