The Cavemen are no strangers to playing tough schedules regardless of the outcome they are getting ready for another state run. After a down year last season they look to ride the coattails of [player_tooltip player_id='2089441' first='Jax' last='Clark'] and [player_tooltip player_id='1439711' first='Bryce' last='Mella']. These two have been playing very well this grassroots season and they you add the emergence of Dieter Tuiavaki. [player_tooltip player_id='1724369' first='Jax' last='Oyler'] is another player you need to keep and eye on as a shooter and Linclon Zimmerman has been a beast inside and on the glass.

Mater Dei will feature Luke Barnett and Demarcus Henry.

CCHS will have their hands full with Sincere Hudson a shifty 6'2 guard. This will be great for a new backcourt for the Chargers. [player_tooltip player_id='1278437' first='Tyler' last='Mortensen'] has been playing well and he could be called upon to defend a lot of teams best players as he can use his athleticism and length. [player_tooltip player_id='2673550' first='Josh' last='Tolman'] has been coming a long as a strong forward. Mo Brown will provide the height in the middle. This team will look very different but they should compete.

Friday: 6:00pm Court 3

Davis will be traveling with a lot of seniors and possibly one underclassmen. This team will be ready to compete. If they can spread Modesto Christian out and run their stuff they will be able to hag with this team. [player_tooltip player_id='1611276' first='Bode' last='Sparrow'] will likely lead the way in scoring. [player_tooltip player_id='1278451' first='JT' last='Turley'] is a player that could get hot in a hurry. Look for a few new names to emerge at Davis as it is a next man up type of a program.

Davis will need to try and stop Trevor Dickson and Myles Jones.

Herriman will need a heavy dose of [player_tooltip player_id='1278442' first='Carlo' last='Mulford']. Mulford is one of the most skilled guards in all of Utah and if he could get some help on the wings with shooting and some size to defend the post they could pull this one out. Look for [player_tooltip player_id='1724357' first='Stone' last='Tia'] to step things up.

Herriman will need to find a way to stop post player Elias Gish the string 6'6 post will be tough.

Friday 4:45 Court 14

Layton will be great this weekend. They can lean on [player_tooltip player_id='1724368' first='Karter' last='Miller'] a bit as some of their other players continue to build confidence and rack up minutes and experience. [player_tooltip player_id='2716619' first='Chase' last='Randall'] is another kid that could rise to the occasion this weekend.

This one should be a start studded match as Isaiah and Carter Barnes will try and lift Crespi to a win. Layton has the length and the skill set to shut this team down.

Lone Peak will be much improved from last season and they will have a new player running the PG position in [player_tooltip player_id='1724367' first='Saxon' last='Young']. Young has been playing very well for the [program_tooltip program_id='2272999' first='Salt' last='Lake Rebels'] and he looks to continue that trend in Arizona. [player_tooltip player_id='1724365' first='Crew' last='Fotheringham'] continues to rise and pick up offers. These two will need to be on their game this weekend.
