<!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Prep Hoops Next is proud to unveil an expanded Class of 2030 Watchlist, now featuring 50 of the top prospects from across the country. Over the past six months, we have traveled coast to coast, attending events, camps, and tournaments to get a closer look at the emerging talent in this class. From breakout performers to steady risers, these prospects have begun to separate themselves with consistent production, advanced skill sets, and the ability to impact games on both ends of the floor.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>While this list is far from final and will continue to evolve as players develop and evaluations continue, this initial group represents the athletes who are currently making the strongest case for national recognition. Whether through dominant performances, high ceilings, or leadership qualities, these players have made themselves hard to ignore.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Among the 50 selected, five prospects in particular made a major impression with their play and potential. They've carved out early momentum and set the tone for what could be a special journey through the middle school and early high school ranks.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Their names — and the Class of 2030 Watchlist — are listed below...</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:acf/evaluation-block {"name":"acf/evaluation-block","data":{"player_evaluations_0_not_in_database":["not_in_db"],"_player_evaluations_0_not_in_database":"field_62aba48cecf2d","player_evaluations_0_player_details_selected_featured_image":"","_player_evaluations_0_player_details_selected_featured_image":"field_62cca28ffa4e7","player_evaluations_0_player_details_player_name":"Justin Brownlee, Jr.","_player_evaluations_0_player_details_player_name":"field_62aba4c9ecf2f","player_evaluations_0_player_details_graduating_class":"2030","_player_evaluations_0_player_details_graduating_class":"field_62aba4ddecf30","player_evaluations_0_player_details_height":"6'3u0022","_player_evaluations_0_player_details_height":"field_62aba4e8ecf31","player_evaluations_0_player_details_position":"77247","_player_evaluations_0_player_details_position":"field_62aba4f0ecf32","player_evaluations_0_player_details_school":"","_player_evaluations_0_player_details_school":"field_62aba4fdecf33","player_evaluations_0_player_details_club_team":"Soldiers Arsenal","_player_evaluations_0_player_details_club_team":"field_62d20e723441a","player_evaluations_0_player_details":"","_player_evaluations_0_player_details":"field_62aba4afecf2e","player_evaluations":1,"_player_evaluations":"field_62aba7547dc44"},"mode":"preview","alignText":"left","anchor":"acf-block-685164025f86c"} --> <!-- wp:paragraph {"placeholder":"Add evaluation here...","className":"text-gray-700"} --> <p class="text-gray-700">Justin Brownlee Jr. has taken major strides over the past year, evolving into a high-level impact player with a more complete game. Long known for his physical tools, he's sharpened his overall skillset and improved his feel for the game. He moves well without the ball, finds scoring windows within the flow of the offense, and uses his length and instincts to defend multiple positions effectively.<br></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- /wp:acf/evaluation-block --> <!-- wp:acf/evaluation-block {"name":"acf/evaluation-block","data":{"player_evaluations_0_not_in_database":["not_in_db"],"_player_evaluations_0_not_in_database":"field_62aba48cecf2d","player_evaluations_0_player_details_selected_featured_image":"","_player_evaluations_0_player_details_selected_featured_image":"field_62cca28ffa4e7","player_evaluations_0_player_details_player_name":"Darnell Clay","_player_evaluations_0_player_details_player_name":"field_62aba4c9ecf2f","player_evaluations_0_player_details_graduating_class":"2030","_player_evaluations_0_player_details_graduating_class":"field_62aba4ddecf30","player_evaluations_0_player_details_height":"6'5u0022","_player_evaluations_0_player_details_height":"field_62aba4e8ecf31","player_evaluations_0_player_details_position":"77245","_player_evaluations_0_player_details_position":"field_62aba4f0ecf32","player_evaluations_0_player_details_school":"","_player_evaluations_0_player_details_school":"field_62aba4fdecf33","player_evaluations_0_player_details_club_team":"Bradley Beal Elite","_player_evaluations_0_player_details_club_team":"field_62d20e723441a","player_evaluations_0_player_details":"","_player_evaluations_0_player_details":"field_62aba4afecf2e","player_evaluations":1,"_player_evaluations":"field_62aba7547dc44"},"mode":"preview","alignText":"left","anchor":"acf-block-685164025f91b"} --> <!-- wp:paragraph {"placeholder":"Add evaluation here...","className":"text-gray-700"} --> <p class="text-gray-700">Darnell Clay flashes significant upside thanks to his size, length, and athleticism. His overall skillset continues to grow, as he's become a more efficient finisher around the rim and a reliable scoring option for his team. Defensively, his motor has taken a noticeable jump, and he's shown real progress as a rim protector, using his physical tools to alter shots and anchor the paint.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- /wp:acf/evaluation-block --> <!-- wp:acf/evaluation-block {"name":"acf/evaluation-block","data":{"player_evaluations_0_not_in_database":["not_in_db"],"_player_evaluations_0_not_in_database":"field_62aba48cecf2d","player_evaluations_0_player_details_selected_featured_image":"","_player_evaluations_0_player_details_selected_featured_image":"field_62cca28ffa4e7","player_evaluations_0_player_details_player_name":"Nasir Coleman ","_player_evaluations_0_player_details_player_name":"field_62aba4c9ecf2f","player_evaluations_0_player_details_graduating_class":"2030","_player_evaluations_0_player_details_graduating_class":"field_62aba4ddecf30","player_evaluations_0_player_details_height":"6'0u0022","_player_evaluations_0_player_details_height":"field_62aba4e8ecf31","player_evaluations_0_player_details_position":"77244","_player_evaluations_0_player_details_position":"field_62aba4f0ecf32","player_evaluations_0_player_details_school":"","_player_evaluations_0_player_details_school":"field_62aba4fdecf33","player_evaluations_0_player_details_club_team":"All-Ohio Red","_player_evaluations_0_player_details_club_team":"field_62d20e723441a","player_evaluations_0_player_details":"","_player_evaluations_0_player_details":"field_62aba4afecf2e","player_evaluations":1,"_player_evaluations":"field_62aba7547dc44"},"mode":"preview","alignText":"left","anchor":"acf-block-685164025f9a9"} --> <!-- wp:paragraph {"placeholder":"Add evaluation here...","className":"text-gray-700"} --> <p class="text-gray-700">Nasir Coleman continues to progress into a reliable and impactful combo guard with the ability to contribute both on and off the ball. He scores consistently off the dribble, makes plays for others, and facilitates when needed. Off the ball, he moves well to get open and knocks down shots off the catch. On defense, he takes pride in staying in front of his man and provides steady on-ball pressure throughout the game.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- /wp:acf/evaluation-block --> <!-- wp:acf/evaluation-block {"name":"acf/evaluation-block","data":{"player_evaluations_0_not_in_database":["not_in_db"],"_player_evaluations_0_not_in_database":"field_62aba48cecf2d","player_evaluations_0_player_details_selected_featured_image":"","_player_evaluations_0_player_details_selected_featured_image":"field_62cca28ffa4e7","player_evaluations_0_player_details_player_name":"Omari Siplin ","_player_evaluations_0_player_details_player_name":"field_62aba4c9ecf2f","player_evaluations_0_player_details_graduating_class":"2030","_player_evaluations_0_player_details_graduating_class":"field_62aba4ddecf30","player_evaluations_0_player_details_height":"6'0u0022","_player_evaluations_0_player_details_height":"field_62aba4e8ecf31","player_evaluations_0_player_details_position":"77248","_player_evaluations_0_player_details_position":"field_62aba4f0ecf32","player_evaluations_0_player_details_school":"","_player_evaluations_0_player_details_school":"field_62aba4fdecf33","player_evaluations_0_player_details_club_team":"MPO Elite","_player_evaluations_0_player_details_club_team":"field_62d20e723441a","player_evaluations_0_player_details":"","_player_evaluations_0_player_details":"field_62aba4afecf2e","player_evaluations":1,"_player_evaluations":"field_62aba7547dc44"},"mode":"preview","alignText":"left","anchor":"acf-block-685164025fa27"} --> <!-- wp:paragraph {"placeholder":"Add evaluation here...","className":"text-gray-700"} --> <p class="text-gray-700">Omari Siplin is one of the more naturally wired scorers in the Class of 2030, with a confident and aggressive approach on offense. He can heat up quickly and becomes extremely tough to contain once he finds his rhythm. Siplin plays through contact, finishes well in traffic, and consistently knocks down jumpers from multiple spots on the floor. With his scoring instincts and shot-making ability, he's a constant threat whenever the ball is in his hands.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- /wp:acf/evaluation-block --> <!-- wp:acf/evaluation-block {"name":"acf/evaluation-block","data":{"player_evaluations_0_not_in_database":["not_in_db"],"_player_evaluations_0_not_in_database":"field_62aba48cecf2d","player_evaluations_0_player_details_selected_featured_image":"","_player_evaluations_0_player_details_selected_featured_image":"field_62cca28ffa4e7","player_evaluations_0_player_details_player_name":"Peyton Thomas ","_player_evaluations_0_player_details_player_name":"field_62aba4c9ecf2f","player_evaluations_0_player_details_graduating_class":"2030","_player_evaluations_0_player_details_graduating_class":"field_62aba4ddecf30","player_evaluations_0_player_details_height":"6'0u0022","_player_evaluations_0_player_details_height":"field_62aba4e8ecf31","player_evaluations_0_player_details_position":"77246","_player_evaluations_0_player_details_position":"field_62aba4f0ecf32","player_evaluations_0_player_details_school":"","_player_evaluations_0_player_details_school":"field_62aba4fdecf33","player_evaluations_0_player_details_club_team":"Indy Heat Gym Rats","_player_evaluations_0_player_details_club_team":"field_62d20e723441a","player_evaluations_0_player_details":"","_player_evaluations_0_player_details":"field_62aba4afecf2e","player_evaluations":1,"_player_evaluations":"field_62aba7547dc44"},"mode":"preview","alignText":"left","anchor":"acf-block-685164025fa9d"} --> <!-- wp:paragraph {"placeholder":"Add evaluation here...","className":"text-gray-700"} --> <p class="text-gray-700">Peyton Thomas is an athletic point guard with standout explosiveness for the lead guard spot. He facilitates well, makes the right reads, and brings versatility that allows him to impact the game on both ends. His overall skillset has become more polished over time, making him a more consistent and reliable presence whenever he's on the floor. Thomas continues to grow as a playmaker and two-way contributor.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- /wp:acf/evaluation-block --> <!-- wp:table --> <figure class="wp-block-table"><table class="has-fixed-layout"><tbody><tr><td>Omari Allen</td><td>6'1"</td><td>California</td><td>Lakeshow Hoops</td></tr><tr><td>Amare Almodovar</td><td>5'10"</td><td>New York</td><td>Riverside Hawks</td></tr><tr><td>Sherman Anderson</td><td>6'2"</td><td>Oklahoma</td><td>Tulsa Jr. Hurricanes</td></tr><tr><td>Landon Baldwin</td><td>6'8"</td><td>Kentucky</td><td>Indy Heat Gym Rats</td></tr><tr><td>Noah Bishop </td><td>6'6"</td><td>California</td><td>Las Vegas Elite</td></tr><tr><td>Carlos Boyce</td><td>6'0"</td><td>North Carolina</td><td>Team Loaded South</td></tr><tr><td>Justin Brownlee, Jr.</td><td>6'3"</td><td>California</td><td>Soldiers Arsenal</td></tr><tr><td>Darnell Clay</td><td>6'5"</td><td>Missouri</td><td>Bradley Beal Elite</td></tr><tr><td>Bryson Cofield</td><td>6'5"</td><td>Maryland</td><td>Team Thrill</td></tr><tr><td>Nasir Coleman</td><td>6'0"</td><td>Pennsylvania</td><td>All-Ohio Red</td></tr><tr><td>Jeremy Combs</td><td>6'2"</td><td>California</td><td>Paul George Elite</td></tr><tr><td>Lucas Cooper</td><td>5'11"</td><td>Maryland</td><td>New York Lightning</td></tr><tr><td>Wol Deng</td><td>6'6"</td><td>Florida</td><td>Austin Rivers SE Elite</td></tr><tr><td>Landon Driver</td><td>6'3"</td><td>Maryland</td><td>DC Premier</td></tr><tr><td>Robert Ferguson</td><td>6'3"</td><td>Texas</td><td>JL3 Elite</td></tr><tr><td>Logan Gardner</td><td>6'1"</td><td>California</td><td>Team DTermined</td></tr><tr><td>Noah Hale</td><td>6'0"</td><td>Arizona</td><td>Arizona Unity</td></tr><tr><td>King Harris</td><td>5'10"</td><td>California</td><td>Soldiers Arsenal</td></tr><tr><td>Henry Larranaga</td><td>6'3"</td><td>Virginia</td><td>Team Takeover</td></tr><tr><td>Anthony Lloyd</td><td>6'3"</td><td>Nevada</td><td>Oakland Soldiers</td></tr><tr><td>Grant Parks</td><td>6'1"</td><td>Wisconsin</td><td>Team Herro</td></tr><tr><td>Ray Peterson</td><td>5'11"</td><td>Oregon</td><td>Rose City Rebels</td></tr><tr><td>Omari Siplin</td><td>6'0"</td><td>New Jersey</td><td>MPO Elite</td></tr><tr><td>Peyton Thomas</td><td>6'0"</td><td>Indiana</td><td>Indy Heat Gym Rats</td></tr><tr><td>Braeden Thomas</td><td>6'3"</td><td>Texas</td><td>Pro Skills</td></tr></tbody></table></figure> <!-- /wp:table --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Stay tuned for more from Prep Hoops Next!</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph -->
