May Live Period Highlights: Emerging 2027 Wings & Forwards

<!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>The initial live period of the 2025 recruiting calendar brought us a ton of excitement last month in which we saw prospects continue to boost their stocks and gain separation amongst the likes of their respective classes while we also some under the radar prospects emerge and make a name for themselves. Possessing a smooth and quick release, Donohue demonstrated his elite perimeter shooting ability, with deep range too. Donohue also showed flashes of mobility off the bounce— putting the ball on the floor and finishing strong around the basket. With good positional size, Donohue was also active on the boards, very often crashing the glass and coming down with rebounds. Jamison showcased his ability to be extremely active and physical on the boards while also putting the ball on the floor against slower footed defenders and finishing with strength and power at the rim. Offensively, Derstine displayed his ability to finish over both shoulders, with solid touch around the basket. Defensively, Derstine used his length to be disruptive at the rim— altering and blocking shot attempts at the rim. Rogers demonstrated his ability to alter and block shot attempts at the rim as well as be effective in different PnR coverages on the defensive end of the floor.
