The stellar point guard play of Best was a major reason the PA Royals went 4-0 and brought home the 17U division title. Best proved to be a poised and high IQ floor general who can score and distribute. From a scoring standpoint, Best can hit threes as well as mid-ranger jumpers and runners off the glass. He can also use his filthy handles to get all the way to the cup for lay-ins. When the help defense managed to cut off Best, he kicked out to shooters or dropped dimes to the dunker spot. In the transition game, Best's decision making, and live dribble passing was impressive. At the other end of the court, Best's active hands and quick lateral movements made him a plus defender.

Kingeryis a crafty guard with a highly accurate three-point shot who helped push [program_tooltip program_id='2245515' first='NEPA' last='Elite'] to a 3-1 record at the Lehigh Valley Showdown. Their only loss came in the 17u championship game during which Kingery scored 10 points (2 triples). In addition to splashing triples, Kingery is an extraordinary passer. Whether he is distributing off the live dribble or from a triple threat position, Kingery has a knack for delivering creative and well-timed dimes. Plus, Kingery is an agile and sneaky fast prospect, so he can produce buckets in transition too.

This long and athletic Swiss Army knife prospect impressed with his athleticism and versatile scoring skills. On half-court possessions, Smuda overpowered defenders in close, slashed to the rim for catch and lay-ins and hit mid-range jumpers. Smuda also flashed the ability to face up, then put the ball on the deck and score off one or two dribbles. He also crashed the offensive boards for second chance opportunities. Smuda also shocked opponents by leaking out on the fast break and then executing creative finishes or converting through fouls.

This past weekend, Vacchiano proved again that he is a gifted combo guard with an aggressive, physical style of play. Vacchiano (12 ppg.; 8 rpg.; 7 apg. last weekend) got to the rack on straight line drives where pushed his way past defenders. He also showed that he could attack the rim off the dribble using several change of direction moves in a row. The game winning lay-up he made in the 17u championship game was converted through significant contact. Additionally, Vacchiano's jumper was automatic from all over the floor. He even dialed up a handful of logo distance threes.
