These rankings will change but there have been some teams that have been able to add some pieces to their rotation that have elevated them upwards this summer. Having a really good lead guard can change everything.

#1 Lone Peak

Lone Peak has seen the emergence of [player_tooltip player_id='1724365' first='Crew' last='Fotheringham'] and the new addition that has really made them look the part of a true ttile contender is [player_tooltip player_id='1724367' first='Saxon' last='Young']. He is among one of the best PG's in the state regardless of class. He could be the missing piece for a team that has a lot of role players that can shoot, defend and get to the rim.

#2 Layton

Layton has a lot of new faces getting a lot of minutes that they did not get last year. They will have some growing pains but being led by stud PG [player_tooltip player_id='1724368' first='Karter' last='Miller'] will help. Layton has a go to guy and as they find the right rotations andd roles for other players they have yet to reach a ceiling with this new team. Excited to see what Jack Gooderidge can do with more minutes on the floor. [player_tooltip player_id='2716619' first='Chase' last='Randall'] and Nic Anderson are among other players to watch.

#3 Davis

Davis has a group of young player making a push to play and they also have a lot of seniors that could contribute. The one thing that is for sure is that [player_tooltip player_id='1278451' first='JT' last='Turley'] and [player_tooltip player_id='1611276' first='Bode' last='Sparrow'] will be among the players that could help this team take it all. [player_tooltip player_id='2347358' first='Tradon' last='Bessinger'] does a lot of the little things for this team and he is back as a versatile SF. Really like the emergence of [player_tooltip player_id='2194676' first='Owen' last='Barney'] as well as a young player coming up.

#4 American Fork

This team has the personnel to take it all, especially with the combination of [player_tooltip player_id='2194675' first='Dieter' last='Tuitavuki'], [player_tooltip player_id='1439711' first='Bryce' last='Mella'] and [player_tooltip player_id='2089441' first='Jax' last='Clark']. That trio alone could account for about 45 points alone and they have other players that they can turn to. The player that has that blue collar worker written all over him that has made AF teams in the past tough to beat is [player_tooltip player_id='2521701' first='Lincoln' last='Zimmerman']. This klid is tough and he is strong!

#5 Bingham

The Miners are looking to make a run here with a player like [player_tooltip player_id='1278436' first='Luke' last='West']. West has been playing well this summer. He is attacking the rim and playing above the rim as well. [player_tooltip player_id='1493311' first='Parker' last='Snedaker'] could be a big part of them making a run, especially in Region 2. Luke Neidig is one of the tough inside presence in all of 6A that could play with his back to the basket. [player_tooltip player_id='2852131' first='Will' last='Cain'] is another name you need to be aware of as he could provide a lot of help to this team.

#6 Corner Canyon

The Charges had a tough run at Section 7 and you can see that they will look different but they do have a few players that could help them right away. The first one is the two sport athlete [player_tooltip player_id='2208570' first='Manase' last='Brown']. This kid has a motor on him. [player_tooltip player_id='2673550' first='Josh' last='Tolman'] looks to take a bigger role this coming season as well. [player_tooltip player_id='1278437' first='Tyler' last='Mortensen'] is looking better and better. New names to be aware of are Peter Torkornoo and [player_tooltip player_id='1278508' first='Dillon' last='Roberts'].

#7 Herriman

Herriman might be low for many but they did graduate almost everyone that contributed this past season. Look for [player_tooltip player_id='1278442' first='Carlo' last='Mulford'] to go crazy in the scoring column and do not be surprised if he leads the state in scoring. Stone tia looks to help his team more this coming season after sitting out half the year.

#8 Lehi

Lehi has a lot of tough guards and they will depend a lot on D1 prospect [player_tooltip player_id='1724360' first='Ashton' last='Shewell']. Shewell is a dynamic guard that can attack the rim and also hit from beyond the arc. A lot of new players will be inthe mix on this team.

#9 Skyridge

Skyridge is hoping to build a next man up mentality as they look to Carson Mostellar to carry a lot of the scoring load this coming season. [player_tooltip player_id='1598264' first='Hunter' last='Sheffield'] is another guard that can help in the backcourt. Skyridge will be tougher than people might give them credit for. The sleeper player on the roster is Zach Gagon, he is a big time stat stuffer.

#10 Westlake

Westlake has a physical and tough identity and they have one of the toughest guards in [player_tooltip player_id='1476918' first='Graydin' last='Anderson']. Anderson has takeover ability. [player_tooltip player_id='1724364' first='Malik' last='Sika'] will join him in the backcourt and they will be a solid 1-2 punch. Westlake will be a tough out as they have a lot of players that play role basketball. Meaning that they know their role. A player that will have a bigger role next season will be [player_tooltip player_id='2022331' first='Slone' last='Su'a']

These rankings will change but there have been some teams that have been able to add some pieces to their rotation that have elevated them upwards this summer. Having a really good lead guard can change everything.
