The final of three events at LakePoint, one for girls and two for the boys, was this past weekend, as Georgia welcomed in regional teams from the surrounding states and beyond.

The matchups produced some entertaining basketball and some notable floor leaders, putting the ball in the hole and making things happen for others.

Toby Lane | Guard | Santa Fe Catholic | Florida | 2026

Lane was positively cooking Mt Bethel (GA) defenders off the dribble early in the day Saturday, no matter who they switched onto him. At barely 5-foot-10, size didn't matter as he was super crafty with a tight handle and an arsenal of both sound and slick moves to finish with either hand. Tremendous decision-maker on the fly and in the slower half-court sets, he was a classic "off the bus" no threat guy who rapidly surpassed early and unfair judgment.

Nate Robinson | Guard | Mt Bethel | Georgia | 2026

Spent a good amount of time guarding Lane (above) from Santa Fe, and did the best job on him of any of the Eagles. This is a 3rd strong weekend of the month for Robinson that I've been witness to, he having put in the work on both his body in the weight room and the court with his expanding game. Still a bowling ball downhill threat, he's improved his outside shooting considerably, and with the Eagles missing big 2028 stud [player_tooltip player_id='2436950' first='Peter' last='Julius'] once again, Robinson was an assertive team leader and motivator for this young but talented group from East Cobb.

Hunter McGraw | Guard | Gray Collegiate | South Carolina | 2027

Full of moxie and fire that he unleashed in droves on Norcross (GA), McGraw, and more specifically Gray, are must-see every time they come down to the Peach State. A fearless driver, he was smoking a flat-footed group of Blue Devils as he pushed Gray's tempo and got himself to the line through contact. Big turnout of college coaches for this one, and while McGraw is surrounded by a bunch of other talented players, he had to have made an impression with his energy and finishing.

[player_tooltip player_id='2550839' first='Culen' last='Browne'] | Guard | Wilson Academy | Georgia | 2028

There were a ton of really good rising sophomores in the building, but if they didn't catch wind of Browne then they will have to do some catchup. The few coaches sitting with me watching what is always a highly competitive Wilson team from Covingotn were just as impressed as I was with Browne. It was frankly, the full package - silky smooth on the move, highly composed and controlled with the ball, and made some tremendously high-level scoring decisions. Shot it at a near-humorous percentage as well, at one point knocking down what, at my count, was six shots in a row from a variety of points on the floor. Commit this name to memory.

Colton Fowler | Guard | Byrnes | South Carolina | 2027

A great way to end my scouting day was watching Fowler carve up a good Mater Lakes (FL) team with his push-ahead passing and needle-thread feeding. When he wasn't making sound reads to set up a deep trough of Byrnes shooters, he was knocking them down himself, scorching it from 3-land in a maestro first half scoring and passing it. Byrnes is a solid program, I knew I had to see this next version, and they have a fun-to-watch, coach's dream type guy up in SC.
