At the BCAT Boys Hoopfest, a good amount of prospects in Tennessee ended the weekend playing well.

The 2026 Tennessee player rankings will be updated soon, and a lot of the rising seniors have placed themselves in great position to make a leap.

There were also some prospects in the 2027 class that helped themselves as well.

Here are 3 rising seniors that helped themselves:

[player_tooltip player_id='1959161' first='Cade' last='Murphy'], Knoxville Catholic: The 6-foot-5 shooting guard shot the ball well on Saturday. Murphy takes a lot of quality shots and moves well without the ball. He's going to be one of the best players in Division II-AA this upcoming season. Murphy has been consistent for the entirety of his high school career. I can see Murphy being a fringe Mr. Basketball finalist.

[player_tooltip player_id='1497432' first='Eli' last='Williams'], Heritage: Williams is one of the best wings in the class. He has good size at 6-6 and shoots the ball well. Over the weekend, Williams averaged 23 points and 6 assists. This kid is very patient, allows each scoring opportunity to come within the flow of the offense.

TJ Cox, Southwind: Cox will help the Jaguars over the course of the 2025 season. He's a physical guard that's going to be a pest on defense. Offensively, Cox is quick enough to get into the lane and get to his floater. Having him at the point guard spot will take some attention off of [player_tooltip player_id='1760995' first='Ronald' last='Towns III']. Cox has some good moments at BCAT. He had 19 points, 5 rebounds, 2 steals, and 2 assists against Ensworth. Cox also had 10 points, 6 rebounds, 3 steals, 3 assists, and a block against Alcoa.

2027 class

[player_tooltip player_id='2413439' first='Jayden' last='Jordan-James'], Arlington: Jordan-James played with good energy on Saturday against Providence Christian Academy. The 6-0 guard was aggressive on offense, attacking the rim and making shots from the perimeter. The Tigers will need his scoring to take attention off of [player_tooltip player_id='2624485' first='RJ' last='Tate']. That pairing, along with rising sophomore [player_tooltip player_id='2784747' first='Rod' last='Lucas'], will have Arlington competitive in 2025.

[player_tooltip player_id='2043463' first='AJ' last='Polk'], Memphis Central: Polk fits the mold of how his head coach Vernard Watkins wants his guards to play. He's an athletic, tough guard that's going to sit down on defense and attack the rim on the other end. Playing defense is something Watkins expects out of all of his players. Polk is up for the challenge to give everything he has each night Memphis Central steps onto the floor. Polk displayed on Saturday that he's going to fit well with the Warriors.

[player_tooltip player_id='2716618' first='Korajo' last='Dickens'], Montgomery Bell Academy: Dickens could be a force in DII-AA in 2025. He's a 6-6 forward with great touch around the rim. On Saturday, he displayed his ability to play with his back to the basket, catch lobs, and rebound the ball effectively. Dickens has the tools to be a high productive guy in 2025.
