5th Place: Oak Ridge Military Academy

Oak Ridge Military Academy took home 5th Place in the Battle at BCS Jamboree with a 53-32 victory over Providence Grove. [player_tooltip player_id='2884609' first='Will' last='Herndon'] had himself another big outing to lead the way. He was dialed in on the perimeter which in turn got his offense going getting downhill as well. He's a fluid prospect in the 2026 class to keep an eye on. Ethan Kinney (2026), Just'us Burns (2027) and Kai Crosby (2026) are some other standout names to know with them. Kinney is a versatile presence to get to know who did a little bit of everything to make an impact. Burns is another versatile wing/forward who showed he could hold his own cleaning up on the glass as well as knocking down shots on the perimeter. Crosby is a combo guard prospect who plays strong in getting paint touches and making things happen.

3rd Place: Rockingham County

Rockingham County took home the 3rd Place crown at the Battle at BCS following a down-to-the-wire finish in sudden-death overtime against North Davidson. It looked like the Cougars would win things in regulation, but the Black Knights wouldn't go away quietly. Rockingham held a six-point lead with less than a minute to go before [player_tooltip player_id='2399387' first='Coen' last='Miller'] and [player_tooltip player_id='2887160' first='Connor' last='Davis'] knocked down 3-pointers on back-to-back possessions to tie things up before time expired. Rockingham would hold court though in overtime, getting a stop in the initial possession of sudden-death then [player_tooltip player_id='2884625' first='James' last='Thomas'] sealed it with a walk-off 3-pointer on the ensuing fastbreak. He's an intriguing prospect to watch in the 2027 class given his prowess at the lead guard position.

Champions: Oak Grove High

Oak Grove High went unbeaten at the Battle at BCS at 4-0 as they took home the championship in the inaugural event. [player_tooltip player_id='2884645' first='Brady' last='Vallance'] took home the Most Outstanding Prospect award, though Graham Brinkley, [player_tooltip player_id='2884654' first='Lathan' last='Pruitt'] and [player_tooltip player_id='2884648' first='Cam' last='Cannady'] were a few other names to make note of with the Grizzlies. Vallance showed poise as a defensive pest and fast-starter on offense who could get his teammates in the right spots and lead his team to victory. They were a stifling defensive group who played well together setting quite the tone. Brinkley made the game-winning bucket in their first game, but in the others, Oak Grove ran away with things. In the championship, they won 50-27. The score was 35-24 with 5:57 remaining. They're a well-rounded group who know how to get after it.
