In the latest installment of the 2027 Tennessee player rankings, the best players have made the much-needed strides to stand out in what looks to be a solid class.

It's not an overstatement to say that the rising junior class has plenty of talent.

So far in the spring and summer, prospects throughout the state have been showing positive signs.

Let's take a look at the ones who have:

[player_tooltip player_id='2291122' first='Dylan' last='Jones'], Bartlett: The 6-foot-5 wing moved up two spots to No. 3. Jones put on a scoring clinic in the Memphis Nike EYBL session, scoring 25 or more points in three games while shooting 50 percent from the field. Jones showed he's not afraid to be a team's No. 1 scoring option. He's carrying that swagger into the month of June. BCAT is coming up. College coaches will be in attendance. Eyes will be on Jones for those two days.

[player_tooltip player_id='2101889' first='Justin' last='Frison'], Houston: Frison remains No. 1 in the class. The 6-0 point guard has fully turned the corner. Frison has discovered the balance he needs to have. During the spring and summer with Mokan Elite 16U, Frison played solid defense, found his open teammates, and got into the lane. With his high school team, Frison understands he needs to be the Mustangs' best offensive player. This spring/summer has been important for Frison's growth, and it has come at the right time.

[player_tooltip player_id='2278560' first='Bryce' last='Garnett'], Kirkwood: Garnett moved up four spots to No. 14. The 5-11 guard can really shoot it. I mean, Garnett can really get hot and stay hot. He's a gifted prospect who's not afraid to attack his defender. Garnett is a fierce competitor.

[player_tooltip player_id='2575799' first='Walker' last='Redding'], Cookeville: Redding moved up 12 spots to No. 28. Redding has good size at 6-7. When it comes to efficiency and consistency, Redding checks both boxes. He can finish around the rim. Redding can make shots from the perimeter. He knows how to use his length to alter shots at the rim. Redding should be a top 20 player in this class by the end of his high school career.

[player_tooltip player_id='2236659' first='Anthony' last='Wiggins'], Pope John Paul II: Wiggins moved up 9 spots to No. 22. Wiggins is a dog on the defensive end. He's a pest, which is something a small guard needs to be. Offensively, Wiggins can be highly productive. He's shifty and crafty enough to get his defender and get into the lane. Wiggins shoots the ball well enough. The 2027 class doesn't have a shortage of quality guards. Wiggins is up there when it comes to quality. He provides a lot of good value.

[player_tooltip player_id='2655029' first='R.J.' last='Tate'], Arlington: Tate comes in at 23. He's coming off a strong sophomore season for the Tigers and has been a consistent viable offensive weapon for Hoop City 16U. Tate can score the basketball with ease. He's effective at the both guard spots. Tate has to be on the floor on important possessions.

In the latest installment of the 2027 Tennessee player rankings, the best players have made the much-needed strides to stand out in what looks to be a solid class.
