It has been a few months since our last refresh of the 2026 SoCal rankings and with plenty of viewing opportunities under our belt – from club events to scholastic high school events – we put together a big update to the rising senior class order. Below we take a closer look at the newest additions to the rankings.

[player_tooltip player_id='2888673' first='Chadrack' last='Mpoyi'] | Crean Lutheran | No. 23

Mpoyi was at Crean Lutheran last year but was forced to sit out the year due to CIF-SS international transfer rules. The 6-foot-11 center has shown what the Saints were missing last season with his physical interior presence on both ends of the floor. Mpoyi has a college-ready frame and uses it to his advantage when powering his way to the rim to finish through contact, when crashing the offensive glass and as a positional and rim protecting defender.

[player_tooltip player_id='2888674' first='Xzavier' last='Miller'] | Legacy Christian | No. 27

Miller is a gifted offensive talent whose versatility at 6-feet-6 stands out as his most recruitable attribute. The rising senior is a bully-ball type of driver and finisher with his combination of strength and touch around the basket. Miller has also shown a knack for playmaking and creating for himself and teammates off the dribble. He has the ball skills and feel to initiate offense and the passing chops and vision to make smart decisions when he gets a paint touch.

[player_tooltip player_id='2888678' first='Christian' last='Benjamin'] | Roosevelt | No. 34

Benjamin was a key piece to Roosevelt's CIF Southern Section and CIF State championship's last season and the Mustangs will need him to take another step to keep them at or near the top. Benjamin is an elite vertical athlete whose quick first jump, body control and hands make him a reliable lob threat in transition and half-court offense. The 6-foot-8 forward has a ton of defensive potential with his combination of size, length and lateral mobility and uses his quick pop off the floor to protect the rim.

[player_tooltip player_id='2888781' first='Ismail' last='Abdul-Rahman'] | Mayfair | No. 35

Abdul-Rahman has a lot of the things you cant teach a young big man. At 6-feet-8, the rising senior is an explosive leaper who plays with a high motor on both ends of the floor. His best offensive trait is his ability to impact the game as a lob threat but he has shown a budding three-point shot off the catch and the ability to attack the rim on straight-line drives.

[player_tooltip player_id='2131786' first='Markee' last='White Jr'] | Santa Margarita | No. 42

White is back in the SoCal rankings after returning to the area from Williams Field of Arizona where he played last season. The 6-foot-6 forward is a physical interior scorer who uses his broad shoulders and strong base to absorb and power through contact around the basket. As we mentioned in a previous story from the Redondo Union summer league, White has shown flashes of improved playmaking and savvy passing IQ.

Bryce Iwuoha | St. Monica | No. 44

Iwouha played last season at Centennial of Las Vegas but brings his polished offensive skill-set to St. Monica. The 6-foot-6 forward is highly effective in face-up situations where he can punish a sagging defender with touch out to 17-feet or use his strength and ball skills to get to the rim off the bounce and score through contact.
