He has excellent speed and quickness, but he is under control with his high basketball IQ. He is a scoring point guard who also distributes the ball with his keen court vision. He scored more than 20 points as he could get a bucket from all three levels and create his own shot with his smooth handles. He hit two 3-pointers to open the game and that really got him going. He was also very effective when he went on the attack as he used his strong 190-pound frame to power his way into the lane for layups. He has strong fundamentals and he can score from all three levels. He was shooting it from distance and he was also putting pressure on the defense with his ability to drive. He reads defenses well as he moves without the ball to the open spots. He didn't score his first point until about five minutes into the game, but then he went on to score 11 consecutive points. He is a very creative offensive threat who was capable of getting into the lane and scoring at a variety of angles. He had a strong float game and he was also flipping up shots in traffic for buckets. He has good speed, but he only when he wanted to go fast. He was shot ready on the catch and he let it fly with a quick release. He opened the game with a trio of 3-pointers that got his team rolling. His movement off the ball was good, which complimented some quick penetrating teammates who were able to find him in the rhythm of the catch. He was also able to attack the close outs to attack off the dribble to get a bucket. He has good skill level around the basket and he is also very mobile. I was impressed with his passing ability from the high post as he found some open cutters. He really came on strong in the second half of the game as he started to finish around the basket with both hands. He is a good athlete who was at his best on offense when he was slashing to the basket. He was doing a lot of positive things to help his team. He can handle and distribute the basketball.
