[player_tooltip player_id='1274847' first='Adam' last='Hubbard'] showed off his versatility at the Prep Hoops Bash In The Desert. He was getting out in transition and throwing down dunks with authority. He was also draining shots from the outside and getting to the line. On defense, Hubbard caused problems for his opponents with his athleticism and wingspan.

[player_tooltip player_id='2426130' first='Ethan' last='Downey'] was cooking last Sunday against Mpire Basketball Club. He was moving a lot off ball, and getting open. From there his teammates hit him for catch and shoot opportunities. He buried one triple after another, despite the defense getting hands in his face. By the end of the game he had connected on five 3-pointers, and it was almost enough to get Rancho Elite the win.

I was able to catch Malaki Ypma play last Saturday and he caught my eye with his size and perimeter shooting. He was fairly quiet in the first half, but then he really turned it on in the second half. Hitting back to back 3-pointers, and then he also added another a few minutes later. In addition to his scoring, he uses his height and length to his advantage on defense.

[player_tooltip player_id='1323293' first='Tory' last='Gholston'] went to work against Legacy. He was splashing in shots from downtown and creating space off the dribble. I also liked how he was setting his teammates up for easy buckets. On the other end of the court, Gholston was playing stout defense and didn't give his guy much breathing room.

Caleb Palmer plays with good pace, which allows him to get to his spots. He can also stop on a dime and shake his defender. A majority of his baskets come near the rim, but he is a capable mid-range shooter as well. On defense, he knows how to time blocks and had 2 in the game that I saw.
