With the first NCAA Live period coming up this weekend, players will have their first chance to play in front of division one college coaches, as well as coaches that aren't local to their area who will be traveling to major tournament sites.

With that being said, we're going to spend the week previewing some of the VA and DMV prospects at these events that we believe college coaches should take the time to evaluate, and could see their stock rise.

Here's a look at part three some of the prospects from the HGSL League, who will be playing in the Hoop Group Spring Live at Spooky Nook Sports in Lancaster, PA.

[player_tooltip player_id='2459244' first='Amare' last='Cooper'] | 6'2” CG | Team Richmond 17U

Cooper is a guy I believe could be a breakout player this summer on the HGSL, as he can fill it up with the best of them and was one of the top scorers in the Richmond area for Monacan this season. The 6'2” combo is a smooth operator as he changes speeds and is shifty off the bounce, he can drill it from deep off the catch or off the bounce, he has great balance getting to spots and creating space and he can get to the rim as a good finisher who also draws contact to get to the line.

[player_tooltip player_id='1489544' first='Alex' last='Blanchard'] | 6'0” PG | Team Richmond 17U

While Blanchard won't draw the biggest coaches due to his size and limitations athletically, but small college coaches will absolutely love this guy and he could be the type of guard that wins you a conference championship with his winning ways. He is one of the toughest guards you'll come across with his willingness to sacrifice his body and fight for loose balls, he is excellent in ball screens and makes great reads, he gets downhill aggressively to put pressure on the defense, he can knock down open shots and he brings great energy defensively.

[player_tooltip player_id='2803871' first='Xavian' last='Bagley'] | 6'5” WF | Team Richmond 17U

Bagley is coming off a breakout junior season where he helped lead Banner Christian to the VISAA D-IV semifinal, and he has a lot of intriguing tools moving forward as a high upside prospect. Standing 6'5” with long arms he has a great frame that translates well to the next level, he can knock down open shots off the catch, he's dynamic in transition where he can both handle it and run the wing and he's a good athlete who can defend multiple positions and is a good rebounder too.

[player_tooltip player_id='1767553' first='Trey' last='Fitch'] | 6'4” WG | Washington Warriors HGSL 17U

Fitch is coming off a big junior season where he helped lead Fairfax Christian to a third straight VISAA D-III State Championship, and he will be one of the go-to guys for this talented Warriors HGSL group this summer. The 6'4” wing has great size on the perimeter particularly for his “3-and-d” archetype as he can guard the other team's best scorer, he can drill it from deep off the catch, he can get to spots in the midrange and he shows a lot of leadership qualities as well.

[player_tooltip player_id='2252305' first='Mike' last='Robinson'] | 6'6” WF | Washington Warriors HGSL 17U

Robinson is one of the more underrated prospects in the NOVA area, and coming off a big junior season at South County he could turn the heads of college coaches with his blend of size, athleticism and skillset that allows him to impact the game in a number of different ways. The 6'6” wing has a strong frame and thrives in his ability to get downhill where he can draw and play through contact, he can knock down open shots on kick-outs, he's a solid rebounder and defender, and he's very good running the floor and finishing in transition.

[player_tooltip player_id='2749818' first='Finn' last='Perschau'] | 6'4” WF | Washington Warriors HGSL 17U

Perschau had a very good senior season at Colonial Forge helping them to a District Championship and a good playoff run, and he'll take a post grad year at Fork Union which should bold well for him to get ready for college. The 6'4” wing has good size on the perimeter and should fill out nicely when he gets there, he's a smooth lefty who can knock it down from deep, he's a sneaky athlete who can play above the rim and he has a good IQ and is an unselfish playmaker too.
