Grit Region Finals: Top 2028 4 & 5 Man Prospects

<!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>PHI was at the competitive Grit Region Finals in the Chicago Land Area over the weekend. We had the opportunity to see plenty of talent coming from inside the paint. Slammed home 4 dunks with vengeance. One being an oop right off the tip. Was rim running the whole weekend. A threat for any opponent's big men to challenge because he uses his length so well. Stayed aggressive defensively. Defensively tallied multiple steals and blocks over a long weekend of play. Can really fill up a stat sheet. Still impressed with mobility and size. Could put him in the 2 or 3 slot as well with handling capabilities. Made more of a difference in the paint using length to challenge defensively in the late morning game Saturday. Had 12 points and multiple rebounds in a close hard fought battle win. Rolled after screening to retrieve a dish off And1. Had another big follow-up O board to convert. Mobility wise remained active all weekend without skipping a beat. Ran the court at a good rate as a true 6'7. Plays with a tough and strong-willed physicality in the paint. In the semi-final made his presence known with a couple clean blocks, an And1 finish from a post feed, and finishing in transition on the break. Plays effectively in a very well coached and orchestrated offensive ½ court setting. Disciplined knowing what spots to fill on the court. Can play the 4 or 5. Screens the ball created some options for his guards and rolls well. Made a cut through the lane And1 finish and another catch from his guard And1 finish at the rim. Crashed the glass consistently. In the team's last game of the weekend finished with 13 points in the first half. Utilizes teammates and plays to their strengths.
