Demonte Powe is a confident shooter from range who excelled at creating his own shot in that area. He will pull up in defenders' faces if he feels like he has the room to shoot the ball. In terms of getting to the rim he has crafty ways of blowing by his defenders. Playing the guard position, he held his own on defense sticking to his assignments. Demonte can control the pace playing the point guard position making good reads throughout the weekend. This weekend he was playing in the 17U division as a 15-year-old competing against players older than him fitting right in.

[player_tooltip player_id='2442227' first='Amare' last='Polk'] is a playmaking guard in half court settings and in transition which was evident in his game against Cenla Hoops. He capitalized on transition opportunities by making plays for others with his passing and getting easy points in the paint laying the ball up. In the half court got into the lane easily at times blowing by some of the Cenla Hoops defenders with plenty of paint touches from him throughout the game. He makes an impact defensively as well making the right rotations.

[player_tooltip player_id='2841600' first='Dezmen' last='Lewis'] excels at driving to the rim on offense as a capable slasher that likes to look for high percentage shots. At times Dezmen will get into the mid-range if a drive to the rim isn't there. Defensively he does a great job of being physical on defense displaying good ball pressure on opposing ball handlers. I was impressed with his effort against CBE Oklahoma 17U.

Dallas Abbott had plenty of good moments in his game against Still I Rise 17U. On most of his opportunities offensively he attacked the basket with aggression even drawing contact in some of his drives. He had plenty of good rebounds and hustle plays on both ends of the floor making a huge impact. Dallas was the X factor in his impressive performance Sunday.

[player_tooltip player_id='2559049' first='Laterrance' last='Potter Jr.'] created good looks for himself on the perimeter off the dribble and catch. He can get on a scoring streak quickly with his quick trigger in his jump shot while also being able to get by defenders. His impressive play came from his performance against the CBE Oklahoma 17U. The reads he made passing the ball to his teammates were noticeable as well. At times he can be intense on the defensive end making effort plays.
