He offers a modern skill set as a shot-maker, slasher, and playmaker. He can create his own shot off the dribble, hit contested jumpers, and score efficiently in isolation. He brings a lot of energy to the floor and is at his best when looking to score the rock. He had many talking about his game throughout the weekend, as he was one of the best scorers from behind the arc.

He scores it well from all levels, but his ability to impact the game with his scoring arsenal is impressive when he utilizes his burst in the open floor to blow by defenders and play in the paint. He has a good feel for the game, a solid skill set, and a high IQ that allows him to be a really good shot-creating guard who puts pressure on the defense, giving himself space to operate in the half-court and in transition.

Jackson has a solid game at the lead guard position as he is tough to contain and keep out of the paint. He has an advanced feel for the game and does an exceptional job playing with pace. He operates well as the PG and does a good job involving his teammates. He is fluid off the dribble with tight handles in pick-and-roll action and makes good decisions as the ball-handler coming off screens. He had a good weekend, but there was a moment when he turned the ball over and jogged back on defense, which is something that is not tolerated from point guards, and it should not be something that Jackson tolerates from himself as good as he was throughout the weekend.

He has a high PG IQ and understands how to adjust to different paces while playing at his own speed. He was one of the better playmakers at the position as he has vision, court awareness, and the ability to make high-difficulty passes even under pressure. He brings toughness to the position and doesn't back down from anything. I like the fact that he competes on every possession.

He needs to continue to work on elevating his play on the defensive end of the floor.
