5/24/25: Three minutes in, Braylon scored [program_tooltip program_id='2078772' first='Team' last='Thad'] 15u's first field goal, and it was sorely needed. Midway through the first quarter Braylon forced a turnover with his positioning in defensive transition. Braylon was ok, but not elite in a difficult game. NY Rens played with more size at the guard positions. Braylon and his backcourt mate played as the two shortest players on the court for stretches. Intriguingly, the biggest problem [program_tooltip program_id='2078772' first='Team' last='Thad'] 15u experienced was a bombardment of three-point makes.

5/24/25: [player_tooltip player_id='2194485' first='Joshua' last='Huggins'] had an up-and-down game. Though he hit all three of his three-pointers, Huggins scored a season low 13 points on 4-7 field goal shooting. He just did not take many shots, compared to his typical AAU contest. Huggins struggled to make shots in the game's first 90 seconds. Broadly, [program_tooltip program_id='2078772' first='Team' last='Thad'] 15u came out a bit flat and Huggins was merely the offensive player missing. The whole team lacked bite, and they fell down 6-0 quickly. For the EY15 season Huggins averages just under three offensive rebounds per game. In this 71-66 loss Huggins did not collect a single offensive board.

5/24/25: [player_tooltip player_id='2784747' first='Rod' last='Lucas'] showed off a little bit of handle in the open floor against a feisty team. His first crossover looked nice, but he was unable to create meaningful separation after the sharp move. Lucas played very solid perimeter defense on an ambitious forward. The forward tried to wiggle and incorporated a modest crossover and Lucas stayed perfectly in front by sliding his feet. The ceiling for Lucas, a potential college "3" screams higher if he can defend the perimeter as well as this game suggested.

5/26/25: Perhaps Dylan's best play of the morning occurred as he collected a defensive rebound. He calmly dribbled up the floor, slipping a behind-the-back dribble in against modest fullcourt pressure. Then, Dylan drove hard to his left and fell sideways a touch from a foul all while making a banked layup from 6'. And-1. Wears #0 for [program_tooltip program_id='2078772' first='Team' last='Thad'] 16u. The squad played from behind, at times by double-digits. Team Herro's team made 7 of their first 11 three-pointers! At halftime, Team Herro led 45-33.

5/26/25: Facing Team Herro Chase dropped some beautiful shots within the flow of the offense. At least with [program_tooltip program_id='2078772' first='Team' last='Thad'] 16u Givens looks exceptional as a catch-and-shoot option. He may be capable of more responsibility, but this particular squad asks him to score off of the catch primarily.
