The junior guard is a sniper from the perimeter and was letting it fly whenever he got the chance. He had stretches in both games where he was connecting on “heat checks”. He was a major threat off of both the catch and off the dribble, always requiring a hand in his face. He could also get downhill and finish with touch or find a teammate for a better look.

Tyrel continues to impress me this spring and he turned in another great weekend in Sioux Falls. The junior guard never seems flustered and is great when dealing with on-ball pressure. He has a tight handle and a quick first step, which allows him to get downhill with ease. He can convert on acrobatic finishes around the basket through traffic. Pride has also continued to improve his shot, making him a really well-rounded prospect that can play either of the guard spots.

Jayvion was fun to watch go to work with the ball in his hands this weekend. The 2026 guard was at his best when getting to pull up jumpers in the mid-range, displaying a lot of confidence in his shot. He is a true three level scorer and is a tough player to match up with. Hanson was bringing the energy all game, flying around the floor and being monumental in gaining momentum for his team.

Cole took over down the stretch of a 17U championship game, scoring in a variety of ways. He was just one piece of a deep backcourt for Impact's 17U team, being able to play with the ball or off the ball. He knocked down some looks from three, and could attack the painted area well. He is a very skilled player who does not make many mistakes and contributes to winning in several ways.

I was very impressed with Jackson's ability to conduct an offense. He has a tight handle and did not turn the ball over very much. His game consists of a good balance of scoring and facilitating, doing both effectively. He could knock down looks from the perimeter, and finished off some difficult layups inside through traffic, despite being one of the smaller players on the floor.

Teagan turned in a super solid weekend, helping his team to a 3-1 record. He was running the offense for a good portion of the game I watched, seeming to do everything he could to lead his team to a good look everytime down the floor. He is a great passer and was finding teammates on the perimeter and in transition. Hanson could also score it himself, being a threat from the perimeter.

Kamaj was essential in a comeback win, where [program_tooltip program_id='2836718' first='Team' last='Step'] trailed by double-digits in the second half. The 6'0” guard is very smooth and was getting whatever he wanted when creating off the dribble. He was able to work himself inside where he could lift a floater over the defense, or attack head on to generate fouls or convert on a tough finish. Warner also displayed nice vision, picking up some assists.
