SOUTHERN CALIFORNIA — The MADE Hoops and EHA Circuit collaboration put together another strong event in the Southern California area this weekend. The event featured a collection of show company teams from the EYBL, 3SSB and Puma circuits in addition to many of the top independent teams out west. Below we break down the best wings we watched at the 16u level.

[player_tooltip player_id='2125357' first='Brennan' last='Blackett'] | 2027 | [program_tooltip program_id='2110367' first='Utah' last='Prospects']

Blackett is a 6-foot-7 sharpshooting wing whose strengths are his ability to get his shot off quickly and his consistency from multiple spots and multiple ranges behind the three-point line. The sophomore out of Pleasant Grove (UT) high school wing was one of the better off-ball movers as evidenced by his ability to relocate on drives to give his guards good passing angles on kick-outs.

Bryce Fletcher | 2027 | Build Your Way Elite

Fletcher is a smooth-scoring wing who can fill up the scoring column with perimeter jumpers. The 6-foot-3 Oakwood high school product flashed his fluid shooting mechanics off the catch and off the dribble and did a really good job of breaking his defender down and getting to his mid-range comfort zone for a pull-up jumper.

[player_tooltip player_id='2436266' first='Chris' last='Sanders'] | 2027 | Team Why Not

Sanders is one of Southern California's most physical, athletic and high motor wings and that statement will likely broaden to the west coast after the first few sessions of EYBL play. The 6-foot-4 lefty out of Redondo Union high school is a bully-ball downhill driver and finisher who uses his strength, ball skills and adept touch off the glass to finish around the basket. Sanders is also a high IQ passer who can initiate offense in transition or out of the top of the key in half-court settings.

[player_tooltip player_id='2560849' first='Cobi' last='Posas'] | 2027 | Jalen Green Elite

Posas is a versatile 6-foot-5 wing who stood out as one of the more versatile and effective defensive players among the 16u level teams that we saw. The central California prospect out of Roosevelt High in Fresno is a long, wiry and agile athlete who can switch one through four and even one through five depending on opposing lineups. He uses his length to disrupt passing lanes, protect the rim and rebound in and out of his area.

[player_tooltip player_id='1724365' first='Crew' last='Fotheringham'] | 2027 | [program_tooltip program_id='2110367' first='Utah' last='Prospects']

Fotheringham has all the tools to become one of the west's top recruited prospects in the 2027 class. The 6-foot-7 wing out of Lone Peak (UT) high school has great positional size, can handle and create for himself and teammates in isolation or out of ball screens, is fundamental with his footwork around the rim and stretches the floor to the three-point line with consistency off the catch.

Kameron Cooper | 2027 | Las Vegas Knicks (NV)

Cooper is an intriguing long term prospect with his combination of size, length, athleticism and budding offensive skill-set starting to evolve. The 6-foot-4 wing out of Nevada-based power Bishop Gorman has lockdown defensive ability and is a high level slasher and finisher in transition and half-court offensive settings.

Kolt Yarbrough | 2027 | Elite Prep (WA)

The 6-foot-6 wing/forward has an intriguing game that meshes physicality, skill and athleticism which lends to his versatility on both ends of the floor. Yarbrough can knock down off-catch three's, get to his right hand off the bounce and absorb and finish through contact and impacts the offensive and defensive boards with his strength, motor and willingness to crash on both ends.
