<p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='2839445' first='Ausim' last='Eriacho'], Pine Hill</strong>: Helped Pine Hill win 18 games and reach the 1A playoffs by averaging about 5 points per game. Pine Hill returns most of their players in 2025-26.</p>

<p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='2714614' first='Urijah' last='Griego'], Questa</strong>: Griego emerged as one of the top young players in northern New Mexico by averaging 7.3 points and 3.3 rebounds per game. Questa was incredibly young in 2024-25 with six of their top seven scorers being freshmen or sophomores. </p>

<p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='2839454' first='Bryan' last='Herrera'], Hatch Valley</strong>: Two of Harch Valley's top five scorers in 2024-25 were freshmen. Herrera averaged about 5 points and 3 assists per game for the Bears.</p>

<p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='2839430' first='Caleb' last='Lobaina'], Cottonwood Classical</strong>: Averaged about 6 points per game for a young Cottonwood Classical team that took its lumps in 2024-25 but should be an improved basketball team in 2025-26. </p>

<p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='2839492' first='Pablo' last='Romero'], Springer</strong>: Romero rocketed into the spotlight in January when he set a new state record for most 3-pointers in a single game with 16, finishing with 48 points against Reserve. The record was broken a few weeks later, but Romero's reputation as a 3-point sharpshooter was cemented.</p>
