<p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='1846065' first='Charlie' last='Campbell'], Artesia</strong>: Campbell was one of Artesia's top scorers and rebounders all season long. He had one of his best games of the season in the 4A state championship game against Highland when he scored 15 points, grabbed 9 rebounds and dished out 5 assists. Earned 5A First-Team All-State honors. Like most of his teammates, Campbell is back next season, making the Bulldogs the favorites to repeat as champions.</p>

<p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='2300007' first='Malakhai' last='Ely'], Taos</strong>: Ely was one of the top players in northern New Mexico this past season for the Tigers, averaging 16.1 points and 8.7 rebounds per game. Taos won a first-round playoff game at Pojoaque Valley and reached the quarterfinals of the 4A playoffs. </p>

<p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='1533973' first='Jordan' last='Gallegos'], Mesa Vista</strong>: Gallegos has been a fixture on the Mesa Vista varsity since he was an 8<sup>th</sup> grader in 2021-22 when he averaged over 8 points and 8 rebounds per game. This past season Gallegos helped lead the Trojans to the Class 2A state championship game against Texico. He scored 13 points and grabbed 6 rebounds in the title matchup. Earned 2A First-Team All-State honors. Mesa Vista could make another deep tourney run in 2026. </p>

<p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='1717324' first='Scotty' last='Guerro'], Alamo Navajo</strong>: Guerro helped lead 1A Alamo Navajo to 21 wins this past season by averaging a team-high 17.1 points and 4.3 rebounds per game. The Cougars return their top four scorers from 2024-25, so they will aim for a deeper playoff run in 2026. </p>

<p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='2694511' first='Aydin' last='Kotara'], Logan</strong>: Kotara's job this past season was to score a little, distribute the ball to Logan's top guns and play defense. He excelled in all three areas. The result? Logan captured the 1A state championship after spending most of the season ranked at the top of the 1A polls. Kotara earned Honorable Mention All-State honors. Logan will be heavy favorites to repeat as champions in 2025-26. </p>

<p><strong>Tristan Onsurez, Loving</strong>: One of most dynamic multi-sport athletes in southern New Mexico. Quarterbacked the Falcons' football team in the fall before turning his attention to the hardwood. Averaged 15.7 points per game. </p>

<p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='2693644' first='Rylee' last='Pahl'], Cloudcroft</strong>: The No. 4 scorer in Class 2A this past season. Averaged 20.9 points per game, scoring over 500 points. Connected on 49 3-pointers. </p>

<p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='2697813' first='Tyler' last='Todorovic'], NMSOD</strong>: The New Mexico School for the Deaf doesn't get a lot of attention but the 6-foot-3 Todorovic enjoyed an outstanding campaign in 2024-25. He averaged about 18 points per game as junior after averaging close to 19 points as s sophomore in 2023-24. He's well within range of 1,000 career points.</p>
