We had only 1 practice going into the tournament, where everyone on the team could all make it. I was really impressed with how well of team basketball the guys played all weekend long. Watching us play, you would think these guys have been playing together for a while already. He got to the rim, knocked down the 3 ball, and mixed in a couple of pull-up midranges, as well as finding the open teammate a ton. Every player on the team can shoot the 3 as well, which will make us a hard guard for opposing teams.</em>"</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong><span style="text-decoration: underline">PHD: What style of basketball will you play on offense?</span></strong></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>"<em>Lots of 5 out and 4-1. We want to spread teams out and force them to come guard us. I don't think there will be many teams that will be able to guard all 5 guys on the floor at the 3pt line, which will lead to tons of dribble drives to open looks for our shooters.</em>"</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong><span style="text-decoration: underline">PHD: What brand of defense will you play?&nbsp;</span></strong></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>"<em>We are going to get after it defensively. It's always fun to run our own tournaments. Both of these kids are extremely skilled and primed for a big summer. Carter played on the sophomore team at Horace. Like I said before, he is extremely skilled and works very hard.
