Names names emerge on the spring circuit

Part two of our "Names to Know" from the PUMA NXTPRO Session two focuses on standout players from Louisiana and Texas. These players are ones to watch for fans, coaches, and scouts in upcoming sessions, and they represent key pieces for the success of their respective programs and organizations.    Harris was simply dominant all weekend, looking like a man amongst boys. He uses his size effectively to control the game, even without a lot of plays being called for him. Harris runs the floor hard and finishes at a high rate, demonstrating an impressive vertical and a strong build that allows him to absorb contact and create and-one opportunities. A physically imposing presence in the paint, he leverages his size and strength to dominate on the boards. His ability to run the floor, finish strong at the rim, and set solid screens for his guards makes him a valuable asset. Furthermore, Harris possesses a high basketball IQ, understanding his role and consistently making winning plays.     Young, a tenacious guard with strong instincts, was a disruptive force on both ends of the court all weekend. His physicality bothered opponents, and he consistently found ways to score, whether attacking the rim or pulling up from mid-range. Young embodies the typical high-upside Louisiana guard, constantly applying pressure and looking to dominate. An unselfish leader, he communicates effectively with his teammates, demonstrating the vital leadership qualities so crucial to success. A lockdown defender with a high basketball IQ, Young impacts the game on both sides of the ball.     Wyatt's physicality and strength were on full display throughout the weekend. He attacked the basket relentlessly, finishing through contact with authority, and played with an undeniable competitive fire. His unique blend of size and guard skills makes him a difficult matchup for any opponent. Wyatt's imposing frame allows him to absorb contact from smaller guards and create space for his mid-range game. He possesses the skills of a point guard but also the scoring ability of a shooting guard, making him a special talent who looks ready for the next level.     Brown showcased a natural scoring ability, utilizing crafty moves and the ability to finish with either hand. His knack for creating angles and manipulating the defense makes him a constant offensive threat. Simply put, Brown is a bucket-getter, a pure hooper. He doesn't dominate the ball, and often wasn't the primary ball-handler, but when he gets it, he makes things happen. It's clear that Brown has dedicated significant time and effort to honing his craft.     Morrison, a smooth and shifty guard with deceptive speed, consistently made smart reads and impactful plays throughout the weekend. Despite being undersized, he showed a remarkable ability to finish at the rim. A master ball-handler, Morrison kept defenders off balance with his impressive handles. His mastery of hesitation moves and misdirection created highlight after highlight. Morrison's understanding of angles allows him to get to the rim with ease, and he's also a knockdown mid-range shooter. Expect a big summer for him and the Higher Ground program.    Installment two is full of high potential players that will make waves on the circuit this summer. The talent at the PUMA NXTPRO Tournament is undeniable.
