Names To Know - beginning of Club Season

Part three of our "Names to Know" series highlights more players who stood out at the West Monroe event and are worth following throughout the summer. Each of these players is a matchup nightmare, capable of changing the game in an instant.    Tucker was a dominant force, showcasing a well-rounded game that included scoring at all three levels and impactful defense. His athleticism, skill, and competitive drive make him a prospect to watch. He's particularly adept at the pull-up jumper, especially in transition, and creates scoring opportunities off the ball with impressive creativity. Tucker pushes the pace effectively while maintaining control and plays smart defense. He also competes with an edge, demonstrating toughness in close games.     Don't let the size fool you; Reyes is a dynamic floor general with exceptional court vision and a tight handle.  He's a pesky defender who consistently disrupts bigger guards, showcasing a high basketball IQ and "supreme court confidence."  Reyes is an elite distributor who consistently finds open teammates and knocks down open jumpers.  A true point guard prospect for the next level. Reyes is a primetime playmaker and he will surely be a sought-after prospect for the next level.     James Moody, a 5'9" point guard from Juan Seguin HS, is a shifty and elusive player who uses his quickness and ball-handling skills to create scoring opportunities. He's a tough cover, utilizing angles and hesitation moves to get to his spots. Moody is a natural scorer with next-level potential. He is also an elite playmaker and creates scoring opportunities for his teamates. His creativity with the ball makes him one of the most exciting guards to watch. With an elite handle, he makes difficult shots look easy.      McAnally exhibited a high basketball IQ, consistently making smart plays. He was one of the toughest players on the court, always battling for loose balls and rebounds. McAnally plays with high energy and possesses solid footwork, allowing him to score effectively even in contested situations. His physicality makes defenders uncomfortable, as he consistently initiates contact before creating space for his shot. In addition to his physical game, he can knock down the three point ball in order to keep the defense honest. McAnally is a tough basketball player and one to watch this AAU Season.     Dantzler showcased smooth ball-handling skills and a knack for facilitating the offense. He also demonstrated impressive athleticism and playmaking ability in transition. Dantzler is an unselfish player, scoring primarily within the flow of the offense. While effective both on and off the ball, the offense runs smoothest when he's in control. His specialty is creating angles and penetrating the lane, generating easy opportunities for his teammates. Dantzler is a true team player who prioritizes getting everyone involved, but he's also capable of knocking down shots when needed.
