[player_tooltip player_id='2852198' first='Joshua' last='Bolden'] earned All-District honors during his junior year. For Davidson Academy, Joshua was the primary ball-handler and facilitator. He led the team in assists while also scoring his share. Ultimately, Joshua will probably play college football thanks to his relentless devotion to the weight room. Squatting 565 pounds and benching 250 at 5-foot-8 will do that for you.

All-District wing [player_tooltip player_id='2852268' first='Vernon' last='Roberts Jr.'] made plays with the dribble. Listed as a small forward, Vernon projects as a small college 2-guard prospect at 6-foot-0. Davidson Academy will be a different team altogether in 2025-2026 thanks to the recent hiring of James Strong. Look for Roberts Jr. to be one of several beneficiaries.

[player_tooltip player_id='2736840' first='Joshua' last='Sain'] / SF / McNairy Central

When McNairy Central played a 2-3 zone, [player_tooltip player_id='2736840' first='Joshua' last='Sain'] lined up as a "baseline corner defender." In just the first minute hosting South Side Sain blocked a shot and recovered a defensive rebound. Jackson South Side consistently plays an active and bouncy brand of basketball. They routinely rattle players and jump over defenders. Not against Sain. Joshua was one of the rare players in 3A that could match South Side's athleticism. A lefty slasher/shooter, Sain understands how to play with and without the basketball. He found opportunities against South Side by screening and flaring to the corner. McNairy's first three-pointer flicked off of the left hand of Joshua. Sain's areas for improvement include handles and on-ball defense. Because the Eagles relied upon a 2-3 zone, Sain's perimeter defense stagnated in the winter. Hibernation, if you will. He has both the athleticism and the size to be a plus defender, but it takes work. He would ideally be able to defend the "2" through the "4" at the college level.

[player_tooltip player_id='2852494' first='Robert' last='Shuler'] / SF / Knoxville West

Robert is a run-and-gun wing. He does not do anything at an elite level, but he also does not have any glaring shortcomings to his game. Shuler is an adept rebounder and ball-handler for [program_tooltip program_id='2393604' first='Tennessee' last='Impact'] GOLD. His unselfishness with the pill helps. Knoxville West enjoyed a tremendous season, finishing with a 21-7 record and trailing only Bearden in the District Standings.

[player_tooltip player_id='2852353' first='Dallas' last='Hardshaw'] / PG / Jackson South Side

South Side earned their return to the Murphy Center after missing state in 2023 and 2024 thanks to junior [player_tooltip player_id='2852353' first='Dallas' last='Hardshaw'] and a tremendous graduating senior class. Hardshaw is gritty and undersized. Good court vision.
