While neither he nor his program entered with a significant reputation, they more than held their own against top competition and left a lasting impression. Crane was a steady contributor on both ends, frustrating opposing guards with his defensive instincts and effort. Offensively, he served as his team's primary ball-handler and facilitator, minimizing mistakes with the ball while forcing turnovers at the other end of the court.

A versatile forward, Rugley made a strong first impression as part of a talented GCBC squad at the “Kings of the South” tournament. He competed on both ends of the floor, consistently giving maximum effort off the ball and looking to impact the game in multiple ways. He ran the floor effectively, capitalizing on transition chances, and finished through contact on second-chance opportunities around the rim. With his physical tools and motor, Rugley has the foundation to keep developing his interior game while steadily expanding his skill set to the perimeter.

Sanders is a well-known prospect in the Class of 2029 who recently rejoined his home-state squad, Jet Academy (GA), after a brief stint with Nightrydas Elite (FL), helping lead them to the “Kings of the South” title game. Offensively, he has demonstrated touch around the rim and the potential to stretch the floor, although he is most effective when active in the paint. While his defensive impact is significant—altering shots, blocking attempts, and rebounding with length and athleticism—his engagement level and production can be inconsistent at times. However, when locked in, Sanders changes the game arguably more than anyone in the class.

Terry's blue-collar, no-nonsense approach makes him a favorite among coaches and evaluators every time he steps on the court. He isn't concerned with flash—he's focused on getting the job done. His game is driven by effort more than flair, making him the ultimate “X-factor” for Jet Academy. Willing to embrace any role, Terry defends both forward spots effectively and relentlessly pursues rebounds and loose balls. Though his team fell short in the title game at the “Kings of the South” event, his all-out effort was undeniable throughout the weekend.

Tuck has spent much of the spring in the gym, appearing at multiple high-level camps and tournaments while steadily raising his profile. He continued that trend at the “Kings of the South” tournament, playing up in the ninth-grade division with Team Loaded (NC). The wiry forward's size, length, and quick leaping ability give him the tools to be a significant defensive presence. A natural shot-blocker with good timing, Tuck defends both in help and on the ball, rebounds well, and can switch onto smaller players when required.

Stay tuned for more from Prep Hoops Next!
