DJ was the best player on the floor throughout the game I watched him compete. He has a good physical build for his grade, which allows him to compete at a high level. He showed a headiness and an offensive repertoire that included scoring, facilitating, getting his teammates involved, and executing what the coach wanted. Whether he played on or off the ball, he impacted the game with his ability to make plays. He doesn't need the ball in his hands to make things happen, as his presence causes the defense to shift his way, often leading to gaps open for his teammates. He was one of the top 2030 kids I saw on day one.

Cam is a young lead guard who has a lot of development to do in his game, but he showed a youthful ability to orchestrate and score. He showed that he can break down defenders and get into the heart of the defense. Once in the paint, he showed moments of good decision-making by taking the easy shot opportunity around the rim or dropping it off to his teammates. Other times, you saw his youthfulness, which led to turnovers. I was really impressed with his young poise and ability to keep playing through mistakes and not drop his head. He is at the stage of his journey where he just has to keep grinding and working on his game daily, but I do like what I see developing.

When it comes down to Sawyer, the evaluation is simple: he is one of the best three-point shooters I saw in the 2030 age division. If I had been doing a sniper school article, he would have qualified as he made a minimum of three threes in a game I was watching. He has a nice young stroke, and as he stays in the gym working on his shot, he could develop into a player teams have to have on the floor with his ability to be a threat from behind the arc.

Solomon is a young budding athlete who, at times, plays up a grade level. In the game, I watched him compete; he played with his class (2030), and he was extremely dominant. He was more physical and quicker than his peers, and a good evaluation will come when he probably is playing up a grade or two. He is a dominant lefty, and everything he did went left, and defenders, despite trying to sit on his left and force him right, had very little success. There is a lot of skill work that needs to take place with Solomon, but make no mistake about it; he went out and did what was to be expected, which is to dominate the game in his age group. His downhill scoring prowess was unmatched in all the 2030 games I saw.

There is a lot of growth to be done, and he has developed a good foundation upon which to build.
