Charleston is a small lead guard but plays with a lot of confidence and a high PG IQ. He makes tremendous reads when attacking, probing, and coming off the screen in pick-and-roll action. I have covered Charleston over the past few years, and he is getting much more explosive attacking the basket as his game continues to mature. He is really good at breaking down defenders and getting to the rim, getting to the free throw line, and making his team much better, as he does a good job making sure the ball stays moving. He is playing up, and you wouldn't know if you had just sat and watched him compete.

In the game I watched him play today, I would say that he is a score-first PG, but I saw his ability to create opportunities for his teammates and distribute. He excelled when attacking off the bounce and getting into the paint, where he consistently made tough plays and shots. He popped on my radar today as someone worth watching and keeping track of for the rest of this grassroots season.
