The inaugural Mid-Major Classic took place on Sunday, March 16, and 40 of the top 1A/2A/3A players in the state gathered to play competitive all-star games against one another in front of a packed gym at Riverside High School in West Linn. Lining one wall of the gym were a whole host of college coaches from the D-III/NAIA/JC ranks to watch the talent on display, and after checking our own notes, we checked in with them along with some other trusted observers to see who they thought were the top performers on the day. While most of the players invited were seniors, a number of select underclassmen were also in attendance - here's a look at those top performers.

Joshua Hickox (2026 De La Salle North) - Known best for his ability to drain the three, Hickox bounced back from a tough shooting performance in Team Martin's first game to knock down 3-for-4 from deep in the title contest win. The De La Salle North junior was solid taking care of the basketball and showed good hustle on the defensive end.

Kolan Tolan (2026 Taft) - A standout receiver and high juper on the Taft football and track teams, Tolan was a huge part of the basketball team's success this season. The 6-foot-3 wing was able to showcase his athleticism at the Mid-Major Classic, getting out for points in transition and proving himself as a factor on the boards. He averaged 7.5 points and 5.5 rebounds in Team Lillebo's two games.

Tyler Senn (2026 Bandon) - Only one game on the record for Senn as Team Leman dropped their opener, but the 6-foot-2 combo guard was solid. He scored 9 points on 4-for-7 shooting, 1-for-3 from three-point range as the lefty has solid size and a nice-looking jumper.

[player_tooltip player_id='2844702' first='Conrad' last='Mittelstrass'] (2026 Riverside-WL) - The one selection from the home school Riverside, Mittlestrass didn't get a ton of opportunities but hit a three and was able to grab a couple of rebounds. The 6-foot-3 swingman will be the main guy for the Raptors as they move up to play at the varsity level in the Lewis & Clark League in 2025-06.

[player_tooltip player_id='2539164' first='Cooper' last='Cemore'] (2027 Riverside) - He may not have been particularly flashy, but Cemore was very productive in both games for Team Martin. The Riverside sophomore showed some creativity off the bounce, a decent touch on his outside shot, and the willingness to set up teammates for scores. He wound up averaging 7.5 points and 3.5 assists as Team Martin captured the inaugural event championship.

[player_tooltip player_id='2132791' first='Keylon' last='Kittleson'] (2027 Portland Christian) - Kittleson put together a couple of nice games at the Mid-Major Classic, scoring 10 points in the first game and then notching another 11 more in the title contest. The Portland Christian sophomore is known best for his outside sniping, but at the event he was able to prove he can also take defenders off the dribble and finish creatively around the hoop.

[player_tooltip player_id='2737299' first='Mike' last='McGee'] (2027 Umatilla) - He only got to play one game for Team Henry but McGee caught the eyes of coaches with his run-and-jump athleticism. He got loose for a fast break slam and his length and leaping ability showed up with his rebounding prowess. The Umatilla sophomore is sleeper prospect to watch in the Class of 2027 for sure.
